Avoid This Tire

Have a 2002 suzuki bandit 1200s. Front tyre cupped terribly. Did not last long. Due to cupping the stability is awful. Do yourself a favor and avoid this tire. Changing out front and back after 4500 miles.

I Had Them On A Firestorm And Never Hindered Me Ke

i had them on a firestorm and never hindered me keeping up with faster bikes on sticky tyres. think a lot of it is in ya head. final point is that it is the only tyre that ghost rider could use for the upsalla run, so high speed stability is good. other tyres couldnt cope with that speed for so long

Read The Other Reviews On The Michelin Macadam 90x

Read the other reviews on the Michelin Macadam 90X and felt it was my duty to add mine. These tyres are bloody awful!

Came on a second hand Suzie GSX600F I bought about six months ago. Have experienced insecure feelings above 50 mph, particularly windy conditions, lots of lack of handling feel at all speeds, especially in the wet. Put the tyres at recommended pressures and threw the bike at a slow speed when I wasn't even pushing hard, let alone a very peculiar lary moment after a 100 mile ride and leaving a motorway (felt like the tyre was rapidly deflating; weaving or the wheel was coming off -- not nice!).

Thought it was something wrong with the bike, but checked and double checked everything. Having read the reviews now think differently. Can't wait till they wear out.

The Michelin Macadams Came As Oem On My 2002 Suzuk

The Michelin Macadams came as OEM on my 2002 Suzuki Bandit 1200. I did get about 12000 miles out of them but they didn't inspire a lot of confidence when the road was wet. In the cold they took a very long time to get settled. I don't race on the street but I do like to ride at a faster than average pace. I just put the Michelin Pilot Roads on the bike and hope to have some feedback on those tires when the weather improves here in New England.

I found this review helpful because...

It backs up exactly what I suspected. Had the bike six months. Thought maybe there were things wrong with it, checked out lots of different things, only the tyres remaining and the symptoms exactly as described in the review. Just now a matter of the bloody things wearing out!

The Michelin Macadam 90x Tyres Were A Standard Fit

The Michelin Macadam 90X tyres were a standard fit on my new Honda Deauville, so I have no idea if they're good value for money. They perform fairly well in city traffic but lack stability at higher speeds. After about 30 minutes on the highway it gets really bumpy. They also don't inspire much confidence in leans, especially on wet road.

Michelin Admits That The Front Tire Of The Micheli

Michelin admits that the front tire of the Michelin Macadam 90X is prone to cup badly. Because of that, they came up with the 100X as a replacement. Though the 100X has a different tread design, it's only marginally better. I know, I ran both the 90X and the 100X to the end of their lives. And that life was shortened by the fact that "cupping" ruined the handling, making it less sure in corners and more likely to break contact with the ground, especially when hitting bumps.
