I Have This M3 On My Buell Lightning

The front tire looses traction easily in turns. No confidence on these tires.I have Dunlop Q2 on my Cyclone.Im taking the Metzlers off and putting Dunlop on.The front tire slid out on me and ruined a lot of expensive parts and my Shoei helmet.Buy good tires.

Aprilia Ships Its 750 Shiver With M3, I Wasn't Too

Aprilia ships its 750 Shiver with M3, I wasn't too impressed about handling or road noise performances.

As it was said already it is extremely sensitive towards uneven road surface and not the best on wet surface neither. It is actually good when you're on the sides but u often get the back wheel losing grip when comming back up in straight position...

I changed'em for Bridg BT-23

They Came Stock On My 09 Speed Triple. Good Sticky

They came stock on my 09 Speed Triple. Good sticky tires but just 2-3 days of highway riding and you end up with a flat spot on the rear tire, the center is way too soft for whats really needed. The front tire lasted a good 12000km+ but I never got more then 5000km out of the rear tires and often had a flat spot after just 2500km. After going through 2 Metz M3's I changed them for Michelin Pilot Power 2CT and what a difference. They stick as much on the dry, stick more in the rain and I can almost get twice the milleage out of them and barely any flat spot and plenty of highway riding. Might try the new Sportec M5 (with 3 different compounds and harder center should make them last longer). But would not recommend the Sportec M3 unless you spend more then 80% of your time riding on the side of the tire.

After Having Bridgestone Bt-014's On My 2003 Z1000

After having Bridgestone BT-014's on my 2003 Z1000, I NEEDED to change 'em. They wore out after barely 2000 miles, squared off badly, basically not impressed. My mate was using Metzeler Sportec M1's on his FZ1, which at the time were slightly cheaper than the BT-014's. He was also getting alot more mileage AND they didn't square off half as bad!

So I have the M1's on the Z now and I've never looked back, awesome tyres both front and rear, alot more confidence inspiring than the BT-14's, cheaper, more miles, warm up quickly in my opinion, and I will be sticking with these (and the tarmac) for sure!

Hope this helps

Have Tried The Metzeler Sportec M-3 On My Yamaha F

Have tried the Metzeler Sportec M-3 on my Yamaha Fazer, and can't say I'm TOO impressed... The tire is not 'bad', but there is something is 'upsetting' the bike when it starts to wear; It becomes extremely sensitive towards uneven road surface.

Compared towards the (so far) best tire for the Yamaha which was Pirelli Corsa III, it does not give the same 'feel' or confidence. I don't think I'll buy Metzeler M3 again, it did not suite my bike and riding style too good. I need a tire I can feel 'trust' and 'confidence' with. I am not a 'light' driver, and I do not feel good when the bike starts to 'change' directions when it get's a bit worn; My tires have now lasted approx 1800 miles, and there is (maybe) 200 left.

I Ran The Metzeler Sportec Tyres Last Summer On My

I ran the Metzeler Sportec tyres last summer on my 03 Z 1000. I did not get much over 2500 miles out of both tires before they where shot. The front even lost shape. On a friends bike (03 636) they have lasted fine, but the Z did not like the front at all.

I Have Tried The M1 Which Were Great, But The M3 A

I have tried the m1 which were great, but the m3 are really great. The feel was super. Great grip, better durability than expected. Pricey.
