Dunlop Qualifiers Were Fitted As Standard To My Ka

Dunlop Qualifiers were fitted as standard to my Kawasaki Z750. I used it every day for work commuting plus a trackday. Wear was good but the front cupped and cracked after only 5K's. Shuddering on the front wheel which took ages to find after checking head bearings, shocks, disappeared when the front was changed to Metzelers. Perth Sun, Heat, Ozone and UV may have detriorated the Dunlop compound quickly. Metzeler and Bridgestones have never had same issue in same conditions on faster bikes.

very interested in your comment about the shuddering problem, i have same tyres done similar miles and have the same shudder under breaking, have also checked disc, pads and stuff, due for a new set now anyway so i will try pilots and hopefully a cure will be found, oh my bike is a 2003 firestorm. geoff

Have Recently Replaced The Rear Tyre On My Aprilia

Have recently replaced the rear tyre on my Aprilia RS125 with a Dunlop Qualifier D209 as it was a direct replacement for the old tyre. the old tyre had always impressed me, gripping well even in the wet at 70+ mph, but the replacement has been stunning - I guess I didn't realise how well worn the original was when I bought the bike last year.

Having finished scrubbing the tyre in yesterday, I've been able to be a little more adventurous today and simply can't seem to run out of grip. I'm not one for having chicken-strips on my tyres, and they're already gone. I couldn't hope for a tyre that inspires more confidence than the D209, and I certainly believe that the 'limitless' grip they provide has made me a far better rider in a short period of time.

Lifespan is superb, I had more than 2000 miles out of the part worn old one, so I would guess 3000 out of a brand new one, in the absence of enthusiastic track use of course.

Very strongly recommended product, certainly for an RS125
