This is a fine helmet to use. Comfortable and with an excellent sun visor.

However, I bought it for the removable liner feature. Skin grease welded to the inner liner after miles of use, especially in hot weather needs to be removable.

It was possible, but not simple to remove the liner, even using the printed instructions.

The instructions say "Delicately hand-wash in lukewarm water (max, 30 C)". Delicate hand washing at 30 does not remove grease, what it does do is unstick the glue holding six additional foam pads in position.

OK. So now let's get the liner clean anyway. Into a net wash bag then with proper detergent at 40 , select silk wash. Result, clean liner!

The instruction book says "Never use the helmet if the inner comfort padding and the cheek pads have not been correctly and completely restored". So then find a diagram, photo, even words to illustrate correct location. Nothing, absolutely nothing!

Why, oh why, don't manufacturers get it right?

This approach to a clean lining is complex AND it doesn't work. If a manufacturer would like to see a practical, easy way to achieve a clean helmet day after day, then contact me and I will show them how to do it! They might even increase sales!
