Spada Enforcer - Not Waterproof But Strong And Comfortable.

First the bad points neither glove is waterproof and the Velcro lost its function within a year also the lining separated from the fingers so when I remove them I must hold the finger ends otherwise its a devil to get them back on.

I have cut off the Velcro tab so now there is not much in security to keep the glove in place in the event of an accident.

Now the good points. they are reasonably warm and have lasted very well no holes have appeared yet and they seem strong.

These are not expensive gloves and I feel the manufacture could remedy the problems quite easily.

That being make them waterproof, use genuine Velcro and attach the lining in the fingers correctly then add £15 to the price and hey presto most people will give this product at least 4 probably 5 stars.

So if you can live with the negatives these gloves are well made from strong leather good design and fit.

I have had these gloves for over 4 years and they have travelled over 25,000 miles

Pretty Good Glove At Sensible Money

I have had mine for over a year now and i ride in all weathers covering 10,000 miles plus every year. I am pretty impressed with these gloves and when i compare then to other of similar quality the price differance is double or more.

I did have the standard wp gloves before which are good, although one pair wore out in a year but that is more down to me and the second pair the lining pulled out in, very annoying. The Enforcers haven't suffered from any of that. I find them comfy and warm without being overly hot or cold on all but the most extreme days.

I would buy them again :-)

Well Made Gloves, Bulky But Not The Warmest

Used these for a few months, mainly going through winter, cold and wet weather. So far they have stayed dry, the lining doesn't pull out, but the insulation in the glove makes them quite bulky to wear and bending your fingers and gripping the handlebars isn't easy when they are new. For a £60 they are very well made, i used the visor wipe today and although it was better than using your glove, the rubber is very stiff so didn't wipe away the water drops on the visor too well unfortunately.

Sizing is about right, if a little generous, if your a large, get a large, if your a medium/large depending on glove, try a medium, it may feel less bulky.

Despite their padded look they aren't particulary warm, even when its 2/3 degrees C after 20mins or so riding the cold creeps into the fingertips and the fingers. On a scale of 1-10 i'd rate these as a 6.5.

Protection and materials is very good, hard knuckle protection and the leather is decent thickness and despite an hour in the rain they didn't leak at all, even on the cuff as i had the velcro adjuster tight to stop water running down my jacket and into the glove.

Wrist strap is ample length, i do have a problem sometimes trying to get hold of the end of the wriststrap when removing my gloves, its ok once one is off but when both hands have these gloves on its not easy getting hold of the strap as it has velcro along its whole length so the end is velcro'd down too and hard to get hold of.

In day to day use they are actually nice decent gloves, look good, perform well and should offer good protection for the hands. They also give confidence thanks to their construction and hard protection being very generous. They do lack feel because they are so bulky but thats expected. Would i buy again if i lost mine? If i was looking for an all round glove they'd certainly be on my list of 3. I have some Spada Predator summer gloves i use alot and tbh, they are quite borderline on whether they will hold up in a crash as the palm material is thin and their whole construction is clearly built to a price, which is coincidently the same at £60, as these Enforcers, but the Enforcers offer so much more for your money!

So overall, a very well constructed glove, comfortable except for a bit too much bulkyness, but this may just be when they are new, attention to detail like stretch panels on the thumb and 2 fingers is excellent, you really do get alot of glove for your money. I can definetely recommend these for sub 10 degrees C use, they should last a good few years too!

A quick addition, I've now found a scratch 5inches across my visor, only a light one but caused by using the visor wipe attached to the thumb of these gloves. Must have had a bit of grit that got trapped when I wiped. So I recommend never using the thumb visor wipe!
