Valeo / Chameleon Disapointment

I purcheshed my Valeo parking sensor kit through Chameleon and must advise you against using either of these company's. Following puschase and self Instalation the sensors failed to work. following various calls to The Techincal department, changing of parts further checks the only solution left was that Chameleon send out a engineer. This had to be paid for upfront regardless of sircumsances. The engineers findings / report was that the system had be perfectly fitted correctly but to the Wrongly supplied drawing & Instructions by Valeo / Chameleon! still with thier own engineers report that I had done nothing wrong and the fault was there own they refused to refund me engineers call out change not to mention my inconveniance!!!

NEVER BUY FROM THESE COMPANY'S....... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

The Whole Idea Of Parking Sensors Is To Hear The R

The whole idea of parking sensors is to hear the reassuring beep beep beep.......beeeeeeeeeeeep when you get close to an item.

This works like a charm when the sun (or moon if nighttime) is shining.

Heaven help you when it rains.

These units continually beep when the sensors are wet.

Fully fitted they cost £169 (which is not cheap in my book) and that was for the cheapest of their sets which comprised 4 rear parking sensors and the buzzer.

There are three different steps in the buzzing sequence;

beep...............beep.................beep

beep....beep......beep

beeeeeeeeeepppppp!

In wet conditions they constantly emit the first sequence of beeps.

Very annoying.
