Went in to buy a bike which was 'hard work', unhelpful staff, total waste of time will be taking my business elsewhere

I needed a commuter bike or scooter to do a reasonable length daily round trip, and found a well priced bike on E-bay, in Transitmotorcycles.co.uk E-bay shop.

The bike looked like it might be the one for me, so i called the shop and spoke to a very helpful gent who is the sales manager.

He described the bike to me, and it still sounded like the one for me.

I arranged to go and look, was given decent directions, and on arrival the bike was outside ready and waiting for me to test ride.

Test went well, and a deal was struck.

We were made welcome, and even asked if we would like tea of coffee. All the staff were friendly & polite, and i was impressed.

Considering that the bike i bought was a trade in at the bottom end of the price range, where there is surely less money in it for the dealership, i felt i was treated exactly the same as if i was buying a new bike.

Transit motorcycles are well established, and have been trading in York for years with good reason.

I'd cheerfully buy another bike from here again, and it was well worth the 160 mile round trip for the value and service i received.

I've bought & owned more bikes than i care to remember over the years, and this small independent shop put's the big dealerships to shame.

Overall, very pleased!
