I bought a Direct Chinese import moped from gum tree, i have had many problems with the bike and use SW London motorcycles as my local shop to undertake repairs.

I have to say there service has been impeccable, the staff are friendly and helpful and the standards of there work is very high, which is why i will continue using there excellent service.

In fact i am so confident in there great service that i am planning to purchase a better more reliable bike from there.

There prices are reasonable and they operate a reliable and sufficient service, i would highly recommend them to anyone requiring servicing or the purchase of a bike.

I have used this shop on 2 occasions now and am very pleased with the service I got from the staff. They certainly know what they talk about and on one particular occasion, where able to find me exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommend

I've been rescued by slm twice now. Once stuck when my bike broke down and once when I was knocked off. Both times my bike was picked up quickly and repaired to a very good standard in good time, getting me back on the road.

I can't fault the guys who work there, helpful, friendly and genuine.

I would definitely go back there time and again.

I wish I read these reviews sooner.

Bought a bike with them 3 weeks ago. The bike has been already back in the shop twice, I had to pay for new clatch pads and now the engine is dead !

They are trying to say that the bike has been overreved.

They are dishonnest, sell bikes in poor condition and try to blame you for it.

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!

The worst thing I ever done was trust these guys and give them money. The bike was practically falling apart when they delivered it. I think they offer delivery for a reason,so you're not in the shop when you realise that the bike is still in poor condition, despite saying they service/fix etc. before giving it to you. I was doing nearly 50-60mph and gear lever almost fell off!! and thats just one of many problems. They also 'forgot' to mantion bike was a CAT C. poor standards and service. They are a danger to unsuspecting buyers. one of the worst experiences of my life which is a shame as buying a bike should be a happy time. Please avoid at all costs.

Couldn't find a shop that would find the problem that my motorbike had... they had it for less than a day and they also sorted other problems out without charging me extra.. and now the bike is running so well... really happy about it.. so I would be very happy to purchase gear and services from them again.

I wish I read these reviews before purchasing a bike 2 months ago. These guys try to convince you promising the bike is in the best condition as they have serviced it before selling. Lies! They also promise they will take care of you if any problem occurs afterwards. Lies!! After just around 300 miles I bring the bike back for an MOT and they keep saying the bike is in perfect conditions, as the MOT report has no comments. I then go on a trip to France, since they said the bike was in perfect conditions for a long trip. As soon as I get to France the chain starts deteriorating as the bottom of the bike gets covered in iron powder. I bring the bike to a random mechanic in France who said to me I was insane to drive the bike with rotten chain and sprockets!! Somehow I slowly make it back to the UK and bring the bike back to Southlondonmotorcycles to get it fixed but they want to charge me full price as they claim it was my fault the chain got ruined!! After an endless argument I gave up! left and promised not to see them again.

I then brough the bike to another garage to replace chain, sprockets and, since I no longer trusted the status of the bike, a service.

Guess what, they had to change oil, and air and oil filters as they were in a horrendous status.

Pleas think twice before deciding to deal with Southlondonmotorcycles if you are lucky enough to read these reviews beforehand.

All false promises - a shoddy bike with no after sales service what-so-ever - they give you the illiterate sales banter - none of its true - they have no intention in being honourable - just extracting your money - then your on your own -

I brought a bike from them and on the first day I took it, it overheated I took it back and waited 6 hours just to be told I won't be getting it back until the next day I have been back 6 times in a matter of 2

Weeks the man who runs the place took 800 pound of me and when I asked for a refund he said no and then we came to an agreement that he would fix the bike and if anything goes wrong with it he would replace it the bike broke again and he said I'm not swaping the bike even tho he promised I said I am in my right to get my money back but he still refused don't go there you will be ripped of!!!!
