Booked last week for the scooter to be picked up today for an MOT. All fine so far, sounded really efficient on the phone and asked what the process, was told that the bike would be picked up before 12 and see you next Wednesday. So I take the day off today and wait in for the van to arrive. Nothing.

Called just now; whoever took my booking clearly didn't write it in the book, there was no appointment made. The thing was, instead of acknowledging they might have screwed up, the guy on the phone just blamed someone being on holiday, offered no solution other than they can pick up tomorrow and I might get it back "some time next week" because "they are very busy" (presumably with appointments that they remembered to actually write down). Poor attitude on the phone, made me feel like I was in the wrong. No apology, no attempt to solve or acknowledgement that perhaps losing my means of transport for an indeterminate time period isn't acceptable.

I am sure they can fix bikes really well, but the whole point of a business that picks your scooter up with all the convenience of that is that they actually write appointments down and turn up when they agree to. Without this, it seems a poor business model. All I can say, if you use these guys, call back and double check that they wrote you in their book. You shouldn't have to, but be warned, their system clearly doesn't work that great

My scooter was collected Wednesday morning at 10am and given a full service and MOT and returned by 4pm that day! price was as expected (not cheapest but value for money) and they even came back to adjust a minor fault free of charge! very enthusiastic thumbs up!
