Sanderson Motorhouse York, North Yorkshire

I bought a 15 month old Astra from Sanderson Motorhome York in December 2006, paying pretty much top dollar for the car (over £10K). All was fine until the car hit 3 years old, when one of the wings started to rust. I had the car seen independently, by another garage, who said it wasn't an original Vauxhall wing - the car had been in a smash and it had been replaced. They said it was fairly easy to spot to the trained eye. I took the car back to Sanderson Motorhouse, who aggressively told me I had no comeback. They said that whilst they check vehicles, they can't be responsible for missing anything (so no point at all in paying over the odds to a "reputable" dealer then! Basically, they denied all responsibility and I now face a £400 bill to have the wing replaced. DON'T GO NEAR SANDERSON MOTORHOUSE YORK!
