I’m surprised that some people have had such a poor experience with Car Nation. Over ten years I bought three cars from these guys. I’ve mainly dealt with a person who’s a friendly and helpful chap. Another man also sold me my second car.

I have bought from main dealers before and had nothing but trouble.

The first car I bought was a special edition Vauxhall Calibrate SE9. Unfortunately after four months the engine failed. Carnation picked the car up and dropped me a courtesy car off (similar spec) and fitted a new engine without even quibbling.

My car was returned a week later cleaned and polished and in full working order.

My second car I bought was a six month old Vauxhall Vectra GSI V6 this car was trouble free and super low mileage. When I bought this car Mr Yaqoob took me for a ride in a Ferrari I was looking at they had in the showroom! Impressive car but my pocket didn’t have the budget to match.

The third car sold by the person dealt with was a Rover 420 GSI. Again a low mileage high spec example. This car was also pristine inside and out apart from a scratch on the rear near side wheel which was repaired before collecting.

The staff were always happy to help, free cups of tea to hand and a bunch of roses in the new car for the Mrs too.

If I didn’t live so far away I’d gladly return to buy another car.

Car not as described, had been in an accident and rear bumper not fitting to car correctly, over 1000 miles extra on the clock than in advert. Refused to refund deposit. Became aggressive and threatening. Had to call the police. Overall terrible experience. Be careful!!!!!!!!!

Do not use this company. I didn't want to give any stars but the system wouldn't allow me so only 1!

This company is a disgrace i know a person who was a working single mother and these people took advantage of that took her perfectly working car as part of a deal talked her into buying a car that was not mechanicaly sound in never worked for more than a few days the car spent more time in there dodgy garage than on the road.Warning Do Not Use These People There Are Better Car Comanys Out There and belive me they know how to do you.

I went looking to buy a Clio from here about 2 months ago. Later found out it was a grand over priced. There are no prices on the car screens they keep asking how much u can afford. They under priced my Skoda Fabia for part x (so check this before you go!) the warranty they offer is a good one it ' s with the AA. They told me I had to pay it and the car tax on top. I walked away knowing this wasn ' t a good deal. Surprise I got a phone call an hour later offering me everything I wanted! If you ' re buying a car from outside check them as some of them have been sat there more than 3 months. I ended up with a good deal in the end. A Clio, a year ' s road tax, year ' s mot and warranty. Part exchanged the Fabia and im only paying fifty pounds a month.
