Appalling customer service if you're not buying a new car from them.

I took my 7 year old Vectra in because an "emergency" warning light had come on on the dashboard and they were not in the least bit interested in looking at it ("booked up completely, no time to look at it") - not much help when the manual says take it to a Vauxhall garage immediately and don't drive it any more!

I used to own a Renault and take it to the local dealer (Devco) and they had a much higher standard of customer service. If you took it to them with a problem they would at least try and have a look at it even if they couldn't book it in for repairs immediately.

Bought a diesel Vauxhall Meriva from Westcars Tiverton and nothing is too much trouble for them when it comes to helping you.

Hope to do business with them again next year.

I bought a 3 year old Vauxhall Astra estate from Westcars garage in Tiverton Devon.

I have the car serviced once a year by Westcars. The car is a delight to drive, mechanically sound, and has a huge amount of space.

It is comfortable, which it needs to be for Devon's potholed roads.

I have had no electrical or mechanical problems with the car.
