Couldn't Ask For Better
I have been looking for a SWB Rav 4 for a while, and Vaughan advertised one that exactly matched my requirements. I spoke to a gentleman on the phone, and later the same day, with Mother and greyhound in tow, went to have a look. The car looked lovely, and it turned out he has a particular enthusiasm for Rav 4s. I drove it, and liked it, and although I'm no expert, went ahead and did the deal (I wouldn't normally buy a car without having it checked by a mechanic, but he inspired such confidence). I had my regular mechanic check it out, and he was cock-a-hoop, said you couldn't ask for better from a dealership; my mechanic friend in London was equally impressed, and says I'll get years out of it. I hope that's true; but in any case, if and when I need another car, I'm going back to Vaughan.

Not Your Usual Car Dealer ( Fair ,straight Forward, honest)
I live just around the corner from vaughan motor and have always noticed they have a nice collection of good clean cars. I have been quite settled with my old rover for some years so did not have any dealings with them. But i noticed on pacing a lovely volvo V50 and just popped in to have a look,it was just the car i needed economical classy and mint condition. [name removed] the sales man was so layed back you would have thought it was his last day at work. he just gave me the keys and said go and give it the once over. No pressure to do a deal. when questioned about the history of the vehicle he showed me all the papper work in quite some detail. When i had decided i would have the car he gave me good advice on the best purchase route to use. I was also very impressed when he looked over my rover with a very experienced eye this gave me the confidence in they dont by in dodgy cars. The next day i was picking up my volvo and nothing could have been easier. i have now had it four weeks and its been great . I have contacted the previous owner and she gave me the history of the vehicle and it was just as [name removed] had told me. I recieved my warrenty in the post but i am sure i will not need it but its nice to have in the back ground. So if you are unsure were to go to change your car in the doddy world of second hand cars you wont go far wrong with vaughan. Tony Richardson

Vaughan Motors
After doing research concerning the kind of car we wanted, we found it at Vaughan Motors. Open, honest and straight forward, they gave a fair price for our trade-in and we came away very happy with our purchase. The whole process had been easy and with no hidden charges or catches.
The guys at Vaughan Motors are an example of how car buying should be.
After three weeks of happiness with our new car there was a blip.....electric window stuck. Called the guys at VM and they sorted it (under their own warranty) within 24hrs. Happiness quickly restored!
Really pleased with an excellent sales service and an excellent after-sales service. Would recommend them to friends and will certainly check them out when time to change vehicles again.

Great Car Dealer!
Hi! I have been looking for a relatively low mileage BMW 325D for a while only to be disappointed by car dealers who 'stretch' the truth about the car they are selling. However, found one with Vaughan's - who were quite a way from where I live - and it was a lovely genuine car. They had obviously done their homework and it totally tallied with mine. Clive has a great deal of knowledge about the industry (the business has been going since 1941) and was very helpful - not at all pushy just friendly and a great sense of humour! Can definitely recommend them! Worth going the extra distance to get a good car.

I Bought A Car From Vaughan Motors Two Months Ago
I bought a car from Vaughan Motors two months ago and it is fair to say that it was the most straightforward and easy experience, which I can't say is true of other garages I have bought cars from in the past.
There is no hard sell. I was trading in another car and the deal we reached was transparent and fair. There were no unquantifiable 'extras' thrown in to deflect you from understanding the real purchase price, no pressure to take finance or get you to stretch to buy a car that you can't afford. There is a sense that they are genuinely interested in supplying you with the right car - and one you will enjoy. Once I bought the car there was no sense that they were any less interested in me as a customer - Clive took a lot of time to show me how all the controls worked when I picked up the car and was more than happy to answer questions I had over the phone at a later date.
Finally, I would say that I am really pleased with the car I bought. There have been no issues and it has proved to be exactly as it was sold to me.

Purchased A Mercedes A Class 140 Classic Off These
Purchased a Mercedes A Class 140 classic off these guys 2 years ago.
Car was as described - no nasty hidden issues as you have with some dealers. 2 years later and car is still going stong - it did only have 15k on it when purchased so wasn't a risky buy!
Good dealer from my experience.

I Bought A 2003 Golf Of These People And Was Very
I bought a 2003 Golf of these people and was very happy with the service, they let me test drive it (DRIVING LICENCE NEEDED) and I got a bit of the price. It was sold with 3 months warranty and when the electric window stopped working they fixed it free of charge. The car is great and I am very happy with the overall service I got.

I Spent A Long Time Looking Round For A Decent Use
I spent a long time looking round for a decent used E-Class Mercedes at the right price. In my search I came across a swathe of companies with glitzy web-sites, often based on the (quite impressive) standard Autotrader format. But in most cases when you did any research behind the web site they obviously had nothing of substance: no premises; little stock; no established record with Companies House (several names I checked appeared to have traded under similar names which had been declared bankrupt!). One of the things that therefore attracted me to Vaughan Motors was the fact it has been established as a proper trading company since 1941!
After spotting a E220 CDi Avantgarde ('03) advertised with Vaughan Motors at the right price, I phoned and arranged to see it. He answered all my questions helpfully and didn't try the 'hard sell', but did show interest in me as a customer (unlike others I've met who've either been smarmy or disinterested). He let me test drive and inspect the vehicle on my own with no distracting sales chat, following which I put a small deposit down on the vehicle. As the car was close to the end of it's MOT life, he arranged for the car to have a pre-delivery MOT test, with 12 months MOT put on it, in the process footing the bill to rectify a couple of very minor faults.
Vaughan Motors might not have the range of cars of some car supermarkets, but have some good stock and the right attitude. More importantly you are dealing with a proper trader who will still be there if you need to talk to them later on. Their Birmingham premises might be a bit basic, but that's how they keep their prices so keen. I've been delighted with the way my purchase has been handled and can strongly recommend Vaughan Motors to anyone buying a car here.
