I wasted time and money on the phone and 50 miles of driving to be offered 40% LESS than all the other competitors. HAVING been promised a COMPETITIVE part exchange price.

I was offered just over HALF what 3 other dealers offered!

Not a place i would go again.

We bought a lovely nearly new 12 plate Mini Countryman One in September 2012. The car is great but not so our buying experience.

The advertised mileage was 3980 and the mileage printed on the order form was 3980 but when we took delivery of the car 9 days later it had gone up 1352 miles despite being told it would no longer be used for demos!

The salesperson (S Rice) said that they simply hadn't updated the mileage on the advert but that’s what it is. We only noticed the increase after all the paperwork was signed off and they had taken delivery of our part exchange.

We felt misled but were not offered any sort of compensation.

During the sale we went outside to have a look over the Mini and by the time we got back in the show room another sales person had sat at our desk and his customer had moved our personal belongings out of his way. Very unprofessional and quite unsettling.

On getting the car home we noticed the parcel shelf was missing. This was replaced a week or so later but not until we had made several phone calls. After complaining the salesperson personally made the 30 mile trip to our home to deliver a new shelf.

after having a bad experience at the sytner mini in nottingham i went to stratstone. the salesman and finace manager were lovely and really helpful. they bent over backwards to do me a good deal and were so friendly. lovely company
