Dodgy Dealer!
DO NOT purchase any vehicles from this dealer. Having bought a van 8 months ago, it has been off the road for 6 of those. Has been back 4 times with the same issue which has supposedly been repaired/fixed only to find the same issue re-appearing. Van has been sat on the drive now for over 3 months. Was promised all costs would be refunded together with the original cost of the vehicle however, guess what, the dealer reneged on his agreement and could not be contacted. Recorded delivery letters ignored and returned via the post office. Will take this to court. People like this should not be allowed to trade.

Disgraceful, Untrustworthy, Unreliable.
Where do you start!.
DO NOT BUY from this company. The owner sells vans without a full proper inspection report or at least provide a professional technical report reflecting the true nature of the vehicle condition. So you have to take his word. They make claims on their website that do NOT fulfil the true description.
The vans listed are just "patch repaired" by his son "if that" and you will be left seriously out of pocket. The claim of three month warranty is a cheap ploy to ensure that once you drive out the door. The business owner hopes you get just over three months driving use. After that you'll possibly find various issues or technical problems, by then his excuses and reluctance to properly fix or even refund your money will be come a apparent. He is rude and a liar.
We bought a van in 2015 only to find the van had multiple faults with the an internal working part. Upon notifying the business of the issues and getting the only response from the owner example - it is driver error - even letters sent to the business address got no reply and were returned opened. The issues are still there and the van un-drivable.
Disgraceful, Untrustworthy and Unreliable - not even professional!.
We are not letting him legally get away with this and he knows it.
Do NOT purchase! any vehicle from this company.

Never Buy From Them
I bought a pickup from this dealer, on test drive I noticed the n/s front caliper was seized, asked for it to be repaired before collection. When I picked up the vehicle, and started a 75 mile drive home, after 10 miles or less the front brakes were over heating and had terrible brake fade.
I eventually got the pickup home, parked on the driveway, there it stayed until the repairs were carried out, after one phone call to Southside commercials, they promised to reinburse me for the work and replacement caliper required. Five weeks later the refund has not been made as promised, when I rang to chase the money Glenn called me a mental rxxard, swore and abused me down the phone. All I had done is politely requested my refund that they offered !!
If you have any sence, dont touch this dealer with a barge pole, unless you enjoy very poor customer service and being lied to.

I purchased a vw caddying December 2012 for my first business , with no knowledge of commercials vehicles. the salesman [name removed] provided me with a great source of information to help provide me with the van .yes this man probably gets commission but in my opinion he went above and beyond his job description to help with out any guarantees I'd purchase my van from him. My caddy is in fantastic condition considering it is second hand so would highly recommend these van dealers .

Bad Vans! Access Commercials Www.accesscommercials.com
I purchased a vehicle from these guys when the LEZ came in to force as I needed a new van in order to do my work. I totally rushed and got caught on the Dartford crossing for a whole day due to high winds on the way to collect the van with a friend. I had literally taken Ray's (the sales guy) word that this £14,000 Mercedes Van was in excellent condition. I should have given it a proper check and so wish I did! The van has obviously been in a severe accident and has been repaired badly. It looked immaculate as you can imagine with a near on 100% paint job! I drove it away and within 20 minutes found the engine warning light appear on the dash! I text Ray (as I had his mobile he had called me on previously) to tell him about the fault and he said it was absolutely nothing to worry about. I then had a second light come up less than a week later. This was when I used the van for the first time of a night and has to use the lights. The warning light indicated a bulb out. So within a week of buying this 'excellent condition' van for just shy of £14,000, I have 2 warning lights (one of which is bad). I called Ray and simply asked if I could return the van and exchange for another or cancel the finance. He said there is no way this could be done and basically told me to get lost (or as good as!). I had to go to the finance company, who have simply advised I take the van back to AC for repair. My only issue is, I know what they will do!! Cover up the faults as best they can just to wash their hands of the situation! All in all, I would just advise anyone to be aware that companies like this buy ex fleet vans (that have never been looked after), give them a lick of paint in a cheap body shop and sell them for top money claiming they have always lived an easy life. They look great to someone like me who has NO VAN KNOWLEDGE but rest assured, below the skin of these vehicles is a tired body!! I now have to drive 2 hours to have them give my van the once over! They see to think they can fix all 30 faults in a day!! I am no mechanic, but would be surprised! The paint job has not been primed properly on the van, so I am already noticing rust coming through on quite a few places! It a 3 year old Mercedes FGS!!
Nothing to do with southsidecommercials please remove asap as i will be reporting you

I Recently Bought 3 Vans From Southside Commercial
I recently bought 3 vans from southside commercials for my property business. These were ranging from a small combo van to bigger vauxhall vivaros. All of the vans were in excellent condition and complete with all service history paperwork, I was also given warranty's for all the vans. I found the service that i received from them was top quality and the salesman took the time to show me round all of their stock to find the vans suitable for the company. I will definitely be buying more vans from then when i need them. shame there isn't more van sales like them!
