Problems With Car First Day I Brought It
brought a golf fsi windows not working propoly and esp keeps putting car into maik it home mode have had two home visits to fix esp still not fixed keeps kicking in on wet days have been to car front were i brought it to fix esp and windows 4 mornings and twice to v/w which they paid for and still not fixed so for the month iv owned car add it all up near on a week i have been with out car and still not fixed dan who i brought car from passed it onto feelix to deal with why? i am taking legal advice to get the car returned they sell cars that have not been tested and expect you to test the cars at your time and expense my advice don't trust them shady car front they seem to think by geting you to keep taking car back youll get fed up and not bother taking car back
This gentleman was given a full refund as the car could not be fixed by any of our specialists. The car was given to a VW main dealer who managed to fix the faults, the car was then re-sold to a very happy customer! Fortunately 99% of our cars never develop any of these problems, we are very sorry to the inconvenience caused to this customer. We are careful to ensure that service histories for all of the cars that we sell are up to date, despite this occasionally for no reason cars do develop very unusual faults. When this happens we always stand by our cars and ask that our customers are patient while we sort out the problems as quickly as possible. Could Do With Some Lessons On Manners
Smooth transaction buying the car but when I noticed some faults on the car, I went back to them within three weeks of owning the car and I was told where I could get it fixed myself. Not happy about this I spoke to my father who rang the guy and spoke to him who decided it was fine to be rude to him before putting the phone down on him.
Unfortunately when the ladies father rung he was very confrontational and made threats to our staff! Despite this I rung back and asked for the lady to return the car to us where we successfully resolved the issues that she faced. None were serious, the first item was replacing a door lock barrel - the door opened and closed correctly on remote locking but not with a key. The lady was concerned that the brakes squeaked, each of the wheels were removed and we photographed each brake disc assembly, new disc pads had been fitted by the previous owner very recently so no issues of any concern were found requiring action. The only other item that we couldn't fix was a CD stuck in the player, we forwarded the lady to one of our specialists to resolve this one issue. Fortunately 99% of our cars never develop any of these problems, we are very sorry to the inconvenience caused to this customer. I Recently Bought My Citroen C3 1.1l From The Guys
I recently bought my Citroen C3 1.1L from the guys at Southdowns Car Sales and I have to say I was nothing but impressed with every aspect of the service I received. They are friendly, relaxed and utterly professional. I was given all the time I needed to decide on the car I wanted, all my questions (many many questions!) were expertly answered and the car was in really lovely condition. I had been looking around for a little while and none of the other cars I saw at other garages were anything like as good as condition as the one I bought from South Downs Car Sales. I am so pleased with my C3, it is cheap on insurance and is averaging 55mpg! So, what the guys told me was completely accurate. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking to buy a used car.
