Roslyn Motor Company, Tollcross Road, Glasgow

Went to check the car out, a few mishaps with it, was told everything would be sorted by the time I got the car.

*There was a rip in the seat

*The back passenger window won't go down

*The car door needs a new hinge

*Side panel coming away from the window

Only 2 of these things were sorted (the easy fixes) the Side panel and the Seat. They kept my car for 1 week, d*cked me about, telling me I would have it by the Wed, never got it until the Friday. They would NEVER phone me back, even though they say "we will call back in 30 mins", then when you try to call back, they let the phone ring out!!!

Anyway, I finally got the car, and he said, the window and door are still needing done (although they had told me on the phone that it was in getting done and that's why they couldn't bring the car sooner). So i told him to send me the parts out and I would get them fitted myself.

After he left, I got in the Car, glad to finally have it, even with those minor faults, flipped the Sun Visor up and what do I see?? A damn chip on the Windscreen, called them up straight away to report it, they told me to contact Autoglass and tell them to send them the Bill and they will write the Cheque (fair enough), if only it were that easy, Autoglass told me I had to have the window replaced, and due to it getting chipped while the car was not in my possession it is going to be a cost of £571.66 to replace, and they won't send anyone out until payment has been made. So I contacted Roslyn Motor Company again, and told them the situation, they said they would call me back in 30 mins (that was a day ago), I called back, for them to then try and deny they had chipped the window and had the cheek to tell me to just try and claim it back through my insurance and we will pay the excess fee, I told them, my insurance won't cover it as I didn't do it!!! I said, so if they don't cover it, what, I have to pay to replace a window that I never chipped?? Their response, yes!! Unf*cking believable!!!

I contacted Trading Standards on this mob, but to little or no help with them either!!

Steer clear of these Jumped up monkeys, oh and also, I am still awaiting those parts to be sent out, which I highly doubt I will ever see!!!!!! Ars*holes!!!!!

The car I bought from Roslyn had a fault which would have cost about £2k to fix. They managed to cover this up long enough to sell it to me. While they promised to fix it all they did was keep it in their possession long enough for me to do anything to get it back. Absolute sharks...do anything you can to avoid!

read previous review totaly disagree, i have bought three car's and couldn't be happier with this company. I would certanly recommend to a friend they couldn't be more helpful and car's are well priced compared to other garage's

Complete cowboys! They will sell a faulty vehicle and refuse to admit any fault with it even when presented with inspection findings and refuse to carry out work. They will be abusive and threatening. Do not use!!
