Fast. Easy, Fair. Great Car Deals.
After my vectra became a financial write off in need of repairs. They offered me a fair price for it as part exchange. Found a car i liked got it to the depot in a couple of days ready to test drive. Took the car out enjoyed it then sealed the deal. I dealt with a young guy that worked there and the manager. They both made things simple and easy to deal with. I have no complaints. Got a great car from them at a great price. Would recommend them to other people despite some of the other reviews, this was the best car buying experience ive ever had.

Do Not Buy From Them
A terrible company to deal with, GAP policy's added into the sale with out our knowledge, when questioned they claim "We just add them in encase you want it and will remove at the point of collection"..(only if you realise)
Claim to not be pushy but cant take the answer no to overpriced guarantees, No means no on the first time of asking and the third time!!
The store manager hides behind his army of salesmen and claims he is to busy or "out" to talk to unhappy customers, i'm fully aware he was just sat behind the desk on the showroom floor ignoring our requests to speak.

Said They Would Do Work As Part Of A Purchase, Then Wouldnt
When I bought the car they said if I purchased it they would fix a dint in the boot and replace a missing headrest. When I contacted them afterwards they refused to do it. Contacted trading standards who confirm what they have done is against the law, breach of contract.
Also wouldn't return calls from day one.
They will lie to your face.

Massive Catalogue Of Errors!!!
Where to start.....we saw what we thought was a fantastic car on their website, or so we thought! Firstly.....We called their sales team and arranged to view the car. We had to pay a refundable deposit of £200 to take the car off sale as we were travelling from leeds to hull to see the car. When we got to hull we were then told that we were unable to test drive the car as it was awaiting parts! This should have set alarm bells ringing but hindsight is a wonderful thing!
We then sat down with the sales team who told us that they were awaiting a part for the dash board and this would be sorted and if we wanted the car they would arrange for the car to be transferred to york so that we would not need to travel as far to collect. They assured us that prior to the sale we would be able to test drive the car and if we did not like it for whatever reason our deposit would be refunded no questions asked.....
we arrived in york the following Saturday to pick up the car and were kept waiting for forty mins. We then discovered that the car was infact still in hull and there had been a "break down in communications" and could we travel to hull to collect and they would compensate us will a full tank of petrol in the new car? We agreed to do this.
when we got to hull, we took the car for a testdrive and everything seemed fine apart from the mileage on the car had increased by 40k....when this was looked into the mileomiter had been switched in error......we also discovered that there was no service history as advertised, but we were told not to worry as the car had previously been a motobility and looked after. Quicks had also put the car through a full service and mot......
stupidly we decided to go ahead with the purchase of the car.....we drove the car home all was fine.
the following day I was following behind my husband to return our hire car when the car suddenly cut out. There was no warning this was going to happen.....I managed to restart the car and continued....I was part way around a roundabout when the car cut out again and I lost the power steering! Fortunately I managed to pull the car in to a garage forcourt. I can honestly say I was terrified that a car could have quite easily come speeding around the corner and wiped out the car that me and my 2 small children were stranded in!!
I immediately called quicks only to be told that there hands were tied as to what they could do and their service centre was closed! I lost my cool with the guy on the other end of the phone who constantly asked me to calm down. I told him that I wanted all of my money refunded as I did not believe that the car was fit to drive. He then told me that under the terms of the 7 day money back guarantee that it was my responsibilty to get the car back to them...even though the car was completely unresponsive....how exactly did they expect me to do this?? Eventually they gave in and arranged for the car to be recovered.
The car has now been recovered and I feel that our fight with the garage is only just begining........my advice would be to never consider this garage when purchasing a car, I have spoken with several sales staff but the manager appears to be in hiding. I am taking this matter further as i firmly believe that this car was unsafe and not fit for purpose!!

After Sales Service - Simply The Best !
I recently purchased a used car from Quicks on Hull and had a couple of problems covered by the warranty terms. The Service team were absolutely top quality - I was kept informed throughout the whole process and the guys left no stone unturned to resolve the problems.
I will recommend these guys to everyone.
It really is a pleasure to get service of this quality.

I don't know where to begin. At every stage from test drive to after sales care I have found fault. The manner of the salesman, difficulty in getting through on the phone, add-ons as described by others on here, missing parts... to name a few (not all) of my issues.
Unfortunately, the car I purchased a month ago has a fault that still requires rectification. Quicks Hull don't seem to have any power or control to do anything to ease the situation.
Apparently they have had management changes due to poor customer service and general issues. However, they still can't seem to get the basics right. The 'managers' have no authority or leeway to actually do anything that you would expect of a manager. So you just hit a brick wall. Progress has not yet been made.

What A Waste Of Space
What a joke. We wanted to purchase a car and take on finance we spent 3 weeks been messed about not been able to get answers or any info when we finally got info they just lied to us about a number of things it was like we just didn't want us to have car maybe if we had been buying a brand new reg they wud have been more helpful. I understand some things from the finance part may not have been there fault but we were just left hanging and I left messages and no one wud get back to us or one person wud tel us one thing then another person say something else we backed out of car in the end such was gutting for us but I didn't want to give them the satisfaction of the ssle .stay away from quicks

Watchout For Add-ons
After agreeing the price they wanted to add £1500 of worthless gimmicks,after I refused to pay-up,they insisted I pay £98+vat for a car status check which probably cost a fivar at the most. Don't be fooled by Zach's placid manner and soft voice he'll try to rob you as look at you.

An Asbsolute Shower
It says go into detail, well I went into detail in the letter I sent to the Manager, Managing Director and Operations Manager, none of whom would acknowledge my letter let alone reply to it, spineless. I was there 4 hours waiting to collect my new car, hadn't been valeted in time after a weeks notice, they didn't have the V5!! nor the bottle to tell me so, they lied to me, their head office lied to me (even the salesman told me their head office were liars, the people you speak to at Lincoln are paid to get appointments is what he told me ) you want to buy a car from these people??
There's was obviously a lot more in my letter, they even gave me the wrong SD Card for the Satnav, which made it inoperable, they said they would replace it and still haven't heard anything from them.
Think twice before using these clowns for your own sanity!!!
