I Bought An Imported Delica From Premier People Ca

I bought an imported Delica from Premier People Carriers, the car had many faults that they neglected to correct despite having the car back on four occasions. The owner denied having agreed to repair the vehicle when I involved Trading Standards. I eventually got rid of the car after spending thousands on it to make it good.

My Husband And I Bought An Imported Toyota Surf Fr

My husband and I bought an imported Toyota Surf from Premier People Carriers (also known as Stockton Performance Cars). To cut a very long story short, when we took the car for a test drive we noticed that the clutch release bearing was rattling, other than that we were happy with the car. We agreed a price on the condition that the bearing was put right/replaced but stupidly did not get the salesman to itemise this on the sales paperwork and just trusted the fact that because we had discussed it at length and it was agreed that all work required would be completed, that it would be done. Other work was agreed as part of the sale but was not completed or partly attempted ie undersealing the car (they sprayed the wheel arches black), full service (they hadn't changed the oil or put in new filters), fit a new CD player (my husband had to spend time refitting it after they butchered the trim and he had to connect the back speakers himself). When we complained they basically said it was our word against theirs and that we couldn't prove what had been said, Trading Standards agreed with them. Luckily the car is really nice but this has been down to good luck and nothing to do with the dealer. I would suggest you do not deal with these people but if you do, don't believe anything that is said, get an independent body ie AA, RAC to go with you and itemise everything that is said or promised and get them to sign it.
