Ok So Long As No Problems Later With Car
I would not recommend Norwood garage as the after sales service was pitiful. Full of promises that never come to anything and then, hey presto, your warranty has run out. Avoid!

Got A Fabulous Deal On A Great Little Car From Nor
Got a fabulous deal on a great little car from Norwood Cars. Great range of vehicles in stock; usually around 30 I think. The car was very clean and had just been taxed and MOT'd.
The owner of the garage was extremely helpful and I would ignore any bad reviews, as I did, in order to get a very good service.
Ia very pleasant experience and I would most certainly recommend this garage to anyone looking for a quality used car.
So unsubtle ......... This review was obviously written by the owner or one of his staff.

After Buying A Corsa For My Wife From These People
After buying a Corsa for my wife from these people we had to wait for a few days for them to MOT (apparently it needed the rear seat repairing and a coil springs repalcing) and Service the car.
When we picked it up along with our 3 month warrantee booklet but immediately got a burning smell from the car when it had warmed up, this came from the front of the car from the bonnet area and was noticable mostly when getting out of the car. There was also the occasional puff of blue smoke from the bonnet when driving!
I had a look and noticed one of the bolts securing the top engine cover was loose and it was my opinion that the cam cover gasket was leaking oil so I phoned them to complain about this and was fobbed off with him saying the mechanic who serviced it must have spilt some oil when filling it up, he offered no comment about the loose bolt!
The car went back on 3 occasions and was left with them for around a week each time and the most they did was to wipe the engine and remove traces of oil despite me pointing out the leaking gasket.
On the final occaison I took it back they suddenly "discovered" a burnt bin bag on the exhaust which conveniently explained all the burning smell problems. I picked the car up hoping they were right and when I got it home I examined the entirity of the exhaust to find it was in very good condition with no evidense of any burnt plastic. This has since been backed up by Kwik Fit who agreed with me that the exhaust was clean.
Whilst at Kwik Fit the mechanic there also pointed out to me that one of the rear coil springs was broken with the top portion missing!! This surprised me greatly as this was supposed to have been fixed for the MOT!
Having no trust in these people at all and having some spare time I purchased a new gasket and replaced it myself, this immediately cured the burning smell they had been fobbing me off with for weeks!
I them did an oil change and noted that although this car was supposed to have been serviced the oil was old and black and when I removed the cartridge oil filter (paper type on a corsa) it disintegrated in my hands and I had to basically scrape it out of the car!!! It is my guess this car had not been serviced for many many miles.
The same could be said for the air filter which was filthy.
I have been quoted £130 to replace the coil springs which I will be left to pay out as I do not trust taking the car back to Norwood Car Sales.
I would not recomend anyone do business with these people they come across very friendly but allot of the things they said to me were lies and they seemed to just want to keep fobbing me off until their 3 month warrantee period had expired.
Stay away!

Got A Good Buy From Norwood Car Sales. Has Been Go
Got a good buy from Norwood Car Sales. Has been going without a fault since November 2008. Put a new battery on at no extra cost, was valleted and even saved me the time went and got petrol so i didnt have to stop when I picked the car up, i call that a good service. I would buy from them again if need be 10 out of 10 for being helpful.
I was lucky the car I wanted was the best one I had seen and at the right price for me.
