Charging For Parts Covered By Warrenty

I have a brand new Aygo X. It had a battery that was faulty but they couldn't find anything wrong with it. After the car stopped in traffic they finally took a good look at it and decided to replace the battery.

Now a few days ago after never having any problems with petrol caps on any vehicle the petrol cap ended up jamming shut and they refuse to cover it telling me it must have been my fault it got damaged even though there's no signs of damage on the outside at all.

Rude staff who are unhelpful and refused to refund the £81 they charged me.

Uninterested Salesman Are Almost As Bad As Pushy Ones.

I arrived at the Toyota dealership on a sunny Saturday afternoon having already been to a number of other dealerships (bad experience at one - you can read the review I wrote about them elsewhere and several where there were no staff to be seen) and expressed an interest in a little Aygo Ice. I had never seen this model before and it looked like it would be just the thing for zipping around the city so I asked if I could look at it.

When I got in the car, the steering wheel was adjustable but only to a limited degree and because of that, I couldn't get close enough to the pedals because I am quite short in the legs and I needed the steering wheel to be higher.

When I explained that it was too small and wouldn't do for me, the salesman did not offer to show me any of the bigger models Toyota make or ask me any questions about what might suit me better, oh no... he said "Well if this doesn't work for you, I would say don't go anywhere near the Citroen or the Peugeot. They are just the same car with a different badge. Good Luck" and walked away.

I found this almost as bad as an over-pushy salesman who tried to push into buying a car I couldn't afford. I feel that if sales people can't be bothered with their customers then they probably can't be bothered to take care of their products, either.
