Poor Service
I've visited this garage many times, each and every time the guy in there is rude and argumentative. I regularly use a Groupon as I have 4 cars that need an mot and service but that doesn't seem good enough for the owners and try and not honour it. So I am unsure why they have thar offer on Groupon. Last visit i was told that he could not do a mot and service as it wasn't not specified on the booking phone call and when I tried to explain that it was (as I've come to this problem beforehand) I was refused service and told to get out. Will not be returning disgusted by the treatment

I've been using LGAC for around 10 years now. MoT and Servicing, but also minor and major repairs. My current car, an old-ish BMW 120d, has suffered the dreaded DPF problem. LGAC methodically diagnosed what the problem was (not immediately apparent, with EGF valve muddying the water !). Good customer service throughout. Always consulted re any work required.
No job too big (as you'd expect !), or too small.
I have no reason whatsoever to not continue using LGAC.

Took my car for its MOT today. It's always a stressful time for me but thank god Lilac Grove are different to all the other garages I have been to in the past.They were easy to deal with and very friendly. I cannot fault their customer service and expertise. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Took My Car Here As It Was Local, Had Around £400
Took my car here as it was local, had around £400 worth of work done including new wheel bearings. Within 2 weeks the "new" bearings failed (disintegrated) and my front wheel went flying past me coming round a roundabout while I was on holiday. Another £300 at another garage to sort to get me home and Lilac Grove couldn't have cared less. If this had happened on the motorway I wouldn't be writing this now. Please beware.

More Than Happy With My Mot And Service For £49!
Took my car in for a service and MOT after they were advertised on groupon. Was half expecting extra work but not the case when i found nothing else needed doing.
So i paid my £49 and off i went. My car was cleaned too, all that in a few hours.

Absolute Cowboys. Took My Car In For An Mot, They
Absolute Cowboys. Took my car in for an MOT, they took it upon themselves to do a load of work without asking me. When I rang to see if the car had passed they said no, but they'd done all the work already. The value of the car was less than the work they'd done. I said I didn't want the work done and they'd have to take the parts off. The little fat midget that works there got all tough with his gang of thick mechanics and refused to take the parts off. In the end he knocked some money off. Don't go unless you want Dom Littlewood and his dopey mates to rip you off!
The value of the work was a total of £24 , rang the customer , but he was not answering , so it was getting really late in the day so we took the chance and did the work because we thought the customer would be over the moon that his 15 yr old car only needed £24 worth of extra work to get a full 12 months mot . how wrong we were he would rather paid £45 and scrapped the vehicle due to this experience we always wait for authority now even if its only a £2 bulb
