Don't Take Your Broken Down Jeep To These Idiots
My jeep cherokee broke down , it was taken to Kings Stockport, bearing in mind I was going to Cornwall the week after, for a holiday, They said they could not fathom out what was the prob, rang back and said it was an injector, which they wanted to replace for over £400 , when I said I would get it towed , they rang back with a price of £65 , bit different. Then they said it was ready, at over £600,I actually set out in a taxi to collect it when I got another call to say it wasn't ready until the next Tuesday, I was going to Cornwall the day after. They said they could get me a discount at the brilliantly helpfull care hire people Enterprise , just down the road from them. I had to do this because they couldn't let me have a Curtisy vehicle. On my return I had to pay £900 to get my car back because they said that there was petrol in the diesel system, that had to be stripped down, what a lying bunch, I had it looked at and 3 mechanics could find no proof of work carried out on the car. I could not get any recompense from the management and their mechanics were reluctant to speak to me.
Wonder of wonders, the injector has gone again.
Jeeps! great cars. But I implore you do not take it to kings Stockport , as you'll pay lots for shady work.

Do Not Believe Them
I had purchased a used Dodge Caliber (from another garage)and when it broke down the recovery people took it to the nearest Dodge dealer
Kings Manchester,EVENTUALLY, a faulty starter motor was diagnosed,
I was charged for a NEW one & including ALL the investigation the bill was nearly 1000 pounds. I later found out they had fitted a reconditioned one
(probably my old one) STEER CLEAR

Bought a Jeep Cherokee in Nov (1.5 yrs old) - excellent deal
Service was great especially - Paul Greenhough - the man to see!! Great lad, down to earth - no bull!.
It's been quite a few months now and each time i have had to go in - same service level - just fantastic - great team from reception to servicing too!
After buying the first Jeep - had no intention of purchasing another at that time however, was looking at changing our Range Rover Sport a few months down the line.
That time came and following a visit to James Edwards in Chester (Disgraceful Range Rover Dealer - and others have said the same!) and being totally ignored when my family and went in to price up a new one, (on a Saturday towards closing time) at that time, i made a very concious decesion not to buy from them. - A few days later and on having to go to pick some paperwork up, I eyed the New 2011 Grand Jeep Cherokee at King's Manchester showroom.
In summary, for the value and sheer luxury of the car (proven when i drove it!!) and from a great deal once again from Paul and his sales manager - i bought my second Jeep, it's the new Grand Jeep Cherokee and what a fabulous car.
My whole experience with this company has been nothing short of outstanding - excellent business, great people, who are genuine and the car, well ..... abosolutely delighted with it - for those who own a Range Rover Sport or otherwise - check out the New Grand Cherokee - have to say it drives better, you get more and you know what....the service, attention and customer experience you get when purchasing is to match and well exceeds expectation. I'm a normal bloke, just wanting someone to appreciate the 10's of thousands i had to apend and overall - thanks to Kings Manchester and JEEP & keep up the great work. Delighted with all at this dealership - it was a pleasure buying two cars from you!

My Husband And I Bought A Dodge Nitro 2 Years Ago
My husband and I bought a Dodge Nitro 2 years ago under the PCP Scheme. The was it was sold by Kings was that we would have the option to buy at the end of the term or simply "hand it back" with nothing more to pay, provided that we had not been "rally driving" and looked after the car. The buy pice at the end was too expensive so decided to hand back. The car was pristine but have been landed with a £500+ bill from the finance company for damage that they say they've had to put right, including a charge for the spare key at over £100. This was the one given to us by Kings when we collected the car, that we returned, but they say doesn't fit the vehicle! We asked to inspect the vehicle but it is no longer available (after only 4 days !). They cannot provide evidence that work was ever carried out but they are calling it a default and have handed to a debt collecting agency. We are still fighting and will fight this rip off, but beware out there!! King's sell these as though you have nothing to worry about just to get a sale and it stinks. We would never deal with them again.

This Is A Follow On From The Above Review, After O
This is a follow on from the above review, after owning my PT Cruiser for 5 months, it has ended in me having my money back, as my car has broken down 7 times and I have have run out of patience with hoping that it will be fixed. I felt I had to add these comments on, as although I was pleased, as stated, with the service I received when I bought the vehicle from Kings of Manchester, the treatment that I received from the service department certainly did not match up. The first gentleman I dealt with really did try to help and I am sure that he believed that the car had been fixed, but it hadn't. (The Chrysler Privilege Scheme was also good and they always had a hire car out to me within 2 hours of my breakdown.) After he went on holiday I was passed around a bit and the people I then spoke to were nothing short of rude, I felt as though I was just a problem that they wanted to go away, which only annoyed me. The last dealing that I had with the dealership was good, they did make sure that the hand over of the car/return of my money was painless, but overall it has been a very upsetting and stressful experience.

I Recently Bought My Chrysler From Kings Of Manche
I recently bought my Chrysler from Kings of Manchester (which is a Chrysler and Jeep dealership). The service I received was excellent. They took great care of myself and my husband thoughout the purchase, phoning us regularlly to let us know where everything was upto. We said that we would have the Chrysler on the Saturday and picked it up on the Tuesday, the sales man who looked after us even bought us a dog bed for the boot of the car as he knew that we had a little dog. We were very impressed with the service and the price of the car, we would definately recommend Kings.
