Totally Ripped Off
Worst decision ever buying a car off these guys, its all smiles when there taking 14 grand off you for a car, but the moment something goes wrong with it they do not want to know whatsoever. ive owned the car I bought off them for 8 months now and im yet to have a month with it not breaking down, I took out an extended warranty with the car and they still try to charge you for things 'not covered under warranty'. Do not buy a car from these people, you will have the worst experience of your life.

Rip Off Garages
JCT . I've had nothing but trouble with bradford and Shipley. They offer a £35 mot and surprise surprise they try to rip you off for a failed mot and £350 worth of work needed for new discs and pads. When i complained and tried to reason with them about the fact the car had just had new brakes fitted 3700miles since they fobbed me off. when i mentioned a complaint to vosa the service manager told me to get on with it. A quick letter to the head office saw my mot fee back and a standard fob off reply admitting nothing. I only got a refund cos I sent them proof of three mots the car had passed over the next four days at main dealer garages with no work carried out . It cost £120 to prove them wrong but it was worth it.

Worst Service Ever
We recently visited Mazda Bradford and have been regretting it ever since. We were not given prices for just the car, instead, we got the hard sell of warranties, and paint protection and gap cover etc etc etc. We collected our car, hoping that the fault we noticed on the test drive would have been corrected - shock horror it was not. 2 weeks after getting our car home, the car starts to make a horrendous noise. When i phone the dealers, I am patronised, belittled and made to feel in the wrong for daring to phone. i am assured that its probably a stone in the wheel and i will be perfectly ok to drive the car, and to book it in for the guys to have a look. After taking it to the service centre, I am told that my car is not roadworthy, as the brakes are non existent, even though I have been assured new brakes were fitted. The noise was metal on metal. JCT600 are a joke - I was offered a token payment of half a tank of fuel to say sorry - not good enough. I tried to speak to the head office, to be told that someone would call me back. it took another phone call and an email to get a response, to be yet again, fobbed off.
Avoid JCT600 - there adverts say they are trusted and believe in good customer service - all they care about is the upsell and rubbing their hands when you leave. Just awful.
I've had similar experiences. They must spend a fortune on staff training to teach staff how to fend off complaints and fob you off. They rip you off on mots and service. I would advice anyone to check everything they do. They have only one agenda and thats to get as much money out of customers as they can.

awful service from staff down here. handed in a faulty sat nav and was told i would get a call and be informed what was the issue with it. didn't receive a call for 5 days and all they did was have a salesman "test" it and said it was fine. sorry but i'm an electrical technician and it was not fine. waste of space and time. had problems purchasing the car for cars2. to put it bluntly service i received was terrible. would not recommend to anyone under any circumstances.

Don't What They Do - Can't Understand English Either !
Saw a Kia Cee'd 3 1.6 diesel auto hatch in December 2012.
The car had done 8200 miles - and had 2 earlier owners.
When I checked the car - asked for a test drive - was not offered one.
Tyres - 2 michelin and 2 goodyear - one of each on one axle - told the sales chap Lee Doleman to change these and he did not know its illegal to drive this way - forget selling me one!
Then he called to say no chance - another chap called to say they will do this.
Then asked them to repair a dink - which they have done.
Sadly - I was asked to wait till Jan 2013 to help THEM with their sales targets with the promise of GAP cover free - and I go and pick the car on 2 Jan 2013 and they have forgotten about it!
They replaced the tyres - and gave me a used pair with about 2 mm tread left on them - when they called to ask for feedback told them about this and was told "all our cars are sold with a minimum of 3 mm tread"
Atrocious and arrogant and typical uneducated chaps - wont send my enemy there !
Should have shut up and bought a Skoda Octavia instead.
Never again JCT600 -

Beware
I bought my dodge nitro few weeks ago.
On very next day discover few problems.
1. Broken valve in the wheel;
2. Paint from wheels washed off after first visit in car wash;
3. Perforation in exhaust.
After tocking to Kelvin ( he sold me a car), I’ve been promise ensured that all parts will be send to me on next working day. week after I got same promise .Never received parts. After that I was unable to tock to anybody, as they've been always on meeting, holiday or busy with another customers. Didn't get respond on my emails.
Now solicitor will speak for me.
If you require legal assistance, you may be able to get it through your house insurance. I was appointed a solicitor who specialises in legal matters relating to vehicles and the motor industry.
Be warned though, it can take a long time to get results (JCT600 have had my car for two months now!) but I would encourage you to persist. This dealership cannot continue to get away with such terrible service!!

Proceeding To Small Claims Court
I found this forum too late but would not advise anyone to purchase a vehicle from this dealership.
In March 2011 I bought a "Mazda Approved Used Car" from JCT600 in Wakefield. I came here because of the reputation of both Mazda and JCT600 and wanted an approved used car that I could rely on.
We bought a Mazda 5 with 57,000 on the clock for over £7000. It was slightly cheaper than other models of the same age and mileage because it had minor cosmetic scratches and marks but was within our budget, albeit at the top end and I was assured that the engine and mechanics of the car were "sound".
The car has never lasted longer than 3 months on the road without having to return to a garage!
We have had numerous faults over the past 12 months and have not even had use of the car for the past month as it remains with JCT600, who are happy to give it back to us knowing that it'll break down again.
The reason it'll break down is because of the DPF filter which (according to Mazda Manchester) requires replacing. Mazda Manchester cleaned out the filter at the cost of over £300 then two weeks later it required another clean out. They told us that the filter required replacing and quoted this, plus other "Urgently required" work, bringing the total cost of repairs over £3000. This is just under 50% of the price we pai for the vehicle less than 1 year ago.
As JCT600 are so reluctant to make any repairs to the vehicle I have instructed a solicitor who is now acting on my behalf.
The whole affair has taken a lot of my time, it has cost my family a lot of money and inconvenience. We have a 2 year old daughter and are due another baby in June but will not have a car to take us to the hospital.
I'm glad it's now in the hands of my solicitors who feel we have enough evidence to win but I'm sick and tired of the whole situation and we may now be facing a long, drawn out court case.
Stay away from this dealership at all cost!!!!!!

Not Quite Changed
Due to my experiences for the last three years, I am afraid I am still unwilling to recommend this dealer. Recently after receiving a promotion call from a new staff since Aug to this month, I visited the site to see their best offer. However, it was more expensive than that they had talked to me. Their services after selling a car was not recommendable as well. I hope they will change better soon because I love Mazda.
