Just bought my first Jaguar XF from Dorset Sports Cars. What a relaxed no pressure process that was. They put together a deal, including my part exchange, which I couldn’t walk away from. A real pleasure doing business with Dorset Sports Cars who prepared the Jaguar to very high standard for me.

Nice to meet people who have a passion about their jobs, cars.

Having searched long and hard for a Porsche, I found a suitable one at this dealership. However, although I was assured that the car was completely as advertised and original, after an independent inspection it was found to have cheap copy wheels and tyres that were not the correct fit for these wheels and furthermore were not suited to this car.

They make claims to be Porsche specialists but had clearly misrepresented the car and, it later became apparent, had knowingly mis-sold it to me.

To give them their due, they did reluctantly agree to a full refund but this experience left a rather poor taste and a lack of trust in other more reputable dealers.

If you find the car that you are looking for on Dorset Sports Cars website, then go and view it and be prepared for car buying as it should be. Their customer service, in my opinion, is second to none and some of the main dealerships could learn a thing or two! I enquired about a Jaguar XKR that they were advertising and, as a result, agreed to visit the showroom to view and take a test drive. As I had to travel some distance, I decided to take the train to Bournemouth and expected to take a taxi to the showroom. When I advised them of my arrival time, Jason Batten, their Sales Manager immediately offered to drive to Bournemouth to collect me. On arrival at the showroom, I was given coffee, and then Jason took me on a leisurely inspection of the car, explaining the controls and factory fitted extras. The test drive followed, with Jason initially demonstrating the car, then myself driving back to the showroom. When we got back to the showroom, there was no 'pressure sell', Jason just left me alone with the car to inspect and make my own decision. Needless to say, I purchased the car, and was collected again from the station when I came to collect it. The detailing and preparation/presentation that they put into their cars means you won't be disappointed, and Jason and his team make buying a car a pleasurable experience. The only 'downside' for me is that I live to far away to use their servicing facilities...suppose you can't have everything!

After some time looking for my 4th Porsche, the well presented Boxter advertised at Dorset Sports Cars was a must to view.

The overall experience from the initial test drive to the delivery of the car was a pleasure, with a friendly but proffessional service.

I first approached the garage reluctantly at first having never tried to sell a car through a garage beforehand. This service was explained to me thoroughly and left me with no questions or doubt in my mind. The car was then taken and serviced by their superb onsite mechanic service. My car was ready and on their forecourt within 7 days looking superb. The car gained immediate attention and was snapped up within a week of it been advertised. The price I received for the car I was more than happy with and sadly my priced possession car was duly sold on. I cannot say anything negative about this garage in any way, although I predominantly dealt with Jason whenever I spoke with other members I got a great service. I would definitely recommend this garage and its services to all, whether you are looking to buy,sell or have work carried out Im sure this team would not let you down. In a few words; it has been a pleasure.

l would like to say, that my dealings with Dorset Sports Cars has proved to be an enjoyable experience. I recently purchased a Used X Type Jaguar and dealt with both the Director and the Sales Manager and have to admit that l found both individuals very easy to deal with.

The car l purchased, thus far, has proved to be a real beauty and a pleasure to drive.

All conditions of sale were adhered to, with the car being made ready exactly when promised. I would be happy to have my car serviced at this Garage and am totally confident to recommend any one to use their services.

Two years ago I was in the fortunate position of searching for an Aston Martin DB9. I trawled the internet and visited numerous cars that were described as excellent only to be disappointed. I include main franchise dealers in that comment.

I found a potential car at Dorset Sports Cars in Dorset. A friend of mine was in the area and checked it was as mint as the details claimed. It was and needless to say we journeyed from Somerset to view the car.

Jason (who covers sales) was very knowledgeable and informative but not pushy, unlike some dealers I went to. After a test drive and a check of the service details and history a deal was done and I was the proud owner of a DB9! A child hood dream to own an Aston.

Since purchasing the vehicle, I have always had the car serviced and MOT tested at Dorset Sports Cars. Again the service has been excellent from Jo on Reception to Matt who is the Aston specialist. I have been able to phone and check details over the phone if I needed help which just adds to the customer care levels.

A friend of mine is looking for an Aston Martin V8 and Dorset Sports Cars is the obvious place to go. They manage to source numerous makes with a low mileage and FSH and are available to help you maintain your lucky purchase. In short fully recomended!

I Bought a car from them for the full asking price. (£21,000)

Less than a week later, the rear wheel failed.

Took to garage, showed me the wheel had been previously (and inadequarely) repaired by welding it back together!

Initially, Dorset Sports Cars sales manager was very helpful, and, even in writing, offered to replace the wheel.

The boss then retracted that offer, saying he would send the wheel for repair, but that's all.

I was so worried for my safety (if the weld broke once, it would happen again!?) that I told him I didn't want this, but I wanted a replacement, as initially agreed.

Not heard from them for 10 days, dodging my calls, not returning emails.

Shocking level of customer care.

Finally got through to them on the phone, was basically told they sold the car "at cost" as it doesn't sit well on their forecourt.

Currently taking legal action.

Avoid like the plague!
