Car was delivered on a Friday, went in for a inspection on the Tuesday, mechanic came back with a list of issues including no coolant in the engine, damage to the wishbone an exhaust so corroded that one small pot hole and I’m likely to leave it behind…. The list goes on,
Owner of the business is expecting me to drive it back to the garage so they can look at it then try and fob me off
Ignored several refund requests even though I’m entitled to one
If anyone has managed to get their money back can you let me know how as it looks like I’m going to have to go down the court route

Purchased my car from Chrome unseen (apart from the pics in the ad) and obviously no test drive. They delivered it to me 250 miles away, very promptly with the help of their lovely advisor.
The car was everything that l could hope for so no complaints from me.
Happy to recommend and thanks to all at Chrome for a stress free purchase.

I was sold a faulty car. I was given false service history of an almost identical car which gave me a false expectation that the vehicle I purchased was serviced regularly. The car broke down within 3 weeks of ownership. Chrome motors refused to cooperate to repair, replace or take the back the rejected car. I have Started legal proceedings the car is unroadworthy and now SORN.

Miss sold a car with many unmentioned faults/ cosmetic flaws. No customer service. Off to pay for repairs myself so i can use it

Warrant y is not worth paper printed on. Poor aftersales and completely ripped me off for £7,749. Car has broken down twice in the first three weeks and they dont answer the phone or return emails once they,ve had your money. Service history manufactured, covered up numerous faults, coolant issue, battery flat, substantial damage hidden. I could go on (just avoid at all costs!)

Bought a Maserati Ghibli from a man at Chrome Motors, driving back to cardiff and realised it had a knocking/clunking noise coming from the rear of the car,
I rang him next morning to explain and he only said MOT was fine no faults came up.
Took it to few garages and all confirmed that the rear differential needed replacing, I sent him quotes and he has ignored to pay for the cost.
The DPF light came on after few weeks needed a service after few weeks which I paid for spent over 3k on the car since I bought it.
Also he gave me no warranty with the car they have no after sale respect for customers.
Avoid at any cost.

Terrible Company, Stay Away From Them
I have recently bought a Jaguar XE car from Chrome Motors and have been missold by saying the car has Adaptive Cruise Control but when I received the car and checked I could only see the normal Cruise Control. Both of these things are totally different.
When I reported this later to them the person I dealt with said, he meant the same. How it's possible a car dealer doesn't know the difference between Adaptive Cruise Control vs Cruise Control. The difference in the price of the car can be massively different if the car has/hasn't this feature.
Also when the car got delivered it wasn't cleaned so there was no way I could have spotted the scratches and chips on the front windscreen when later reported they refused to do anything and told me I have to get it repaired using my insurance.
I now need to return the car and they are not even responding.
Stay away from them, I will not recommend buying from this company.

Terrible After-sale Customer Service
1 star for a nice and clean showroom, however if you are unlucky enough to have mechanical issues with the car of your choice within relatively short period after buying the car, you are left on your own to deal with the situation. Your constant phone calls and emails are being ignored, you are given BS about salesman not being in that day having spoken to him an hour ago.
I’ve had the car for 9-10 weeks only and recently discovered coolant leaks. Apparently a warranty period of 3 months should have been included as part of the sale but never received any documents. The car wasn’t cheap either so you’d expect it to last for some time.
This is exactly the situation I’m in at the moment and thanks everyone at Chrome Motors for your professional approach. All I was politely asking for is your help or an answer on what I’m entitled to! Not happy.

Please read these reviews and stay away from theses robbers, all they want is your money!!!!!! The staff are rude, aggressive, and just don't want to know once they have what they want (your cash). Learn from my mistake and others take your business elsewhere.
