Thank God I Found This Site

I called and emails this place several times before i went down and never got a reply

I have been to this garage twice this weekend trying to Buy a Range rover sport for 22k.. The car looks great but can not get a difinate answer if it has full service history.

They told me they have sent for the service book and belive its has 3 stamps in it. the car has done 87k miles it needs a service every 15k so it doesnt add up

There answer is " with modern long life oil people dont always get them serviced!!!

I will not be going back!

To Set the record straight,,, i went back to bronte and bought the car, I hold my hands up and admit its a great motor at the price i paid..

The lads at Bronte Motors have been great since the misunderstanding over the service book.....Over all it turned out to be a great deal!!

Was the vehicle advertised with full service history? If not what is your complaint!?! They have given you an honest answer saying they have sent for the service book and believe it has 3 stamps in it.. What is your problem with that? They have not lied to you! And not everyone follows the service schedule for car servicing!

Steer Clear !!!!!!!!!

Do not buy a car from these jokers we bought a Golf R32 from these not so long back despite the car being in tip top condition to be it had no service history except 2008 no V5 cert we were told to contact VW for its FSH and the car had 7 other owners and it only had 54,000 miles so for a high performance vehicle we found rather strange it was also automatic with no FSH and if the gearbox was damaged it could possibly have cost £3,000 to replace we were duped into buying this car and wished to god we never part exed our own to buy it we were ripped off just be very very careful before you decide to a buy any car from this joke of a company

Grow some balls and come and see me as you bought a car £2000 behind book price and was told it had no v5 which you would wait for because it was so cheap!!!! Next time buy a car you can afford to run!!

Terrible Customer Service

Numerous phone calls made, none returned. When vehicle was finally booked for hire, they later cancelled on me days before I was due to take it. Cheap prices, but useless. AVOID!

I have been using century Motors now for quite a few years. I have sold a car to them and bought a car off them. I have not had any bad experiences off them at all. I take my car to them annually for the MOT and Service. As all cars can have problems with them, but they have sorted me out with NO PROBLEMS whatsoever. I have used a Big Name garage before and they where expensive like £35.00 for a new fuse to be fitted. So I decided to go to Century from then on. All the staff are great and friendly and really helpful.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!!!

Bought a car from them earlier this year and have had ongoing problems with after sales service. Two minor electrical faults have taken weeks and weeks to resolve and they're even trying to charge me for parts! I was promised a spare key - none materialised. Very shoddy.

Worst Car Sales/repairs Ever!!!!!

I cant put anything i like about this company, it is run like a joke and none of them will tell you the Truth!! avoid these people at all cost, These are the type of people that give car sales a bad namne, whenever work has been done i would questions what work has been done at all!! Had a service done with them and marked the Oil filter with a marker pen, guess what.....it was still the same Oil filter after the service had been done!! and yes i was charged for it!!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE avoid them for sales/service/MOT or anything they offer!!

Complete JOKE!!!!!

Major Issues - Stay Clear Of This Company

Customer service from this "wheeler dealership" is appalling! Have been waiting weeks and weeks and weeks for a sunroof part. Have phoned on numerous occasions myself to be told the part is on back order. Never received a call from Century to explain or keep me in the loop. I have phoned about 10 times now and still waiting for it to be delievered and fitted.

The car went back 2 days after i bought it as it kept loosing power and jerking at low revs. They said they fitted a new alternator, however now im unsure whether it was new or taken from another vehicle.

The sunroof i can live with for now and putting this down to a really poorly managed outlet who cant sort out their ordering process properly.

However, more disturbing, my car today has failed an MOT. there are 2 serious fails on the car which i have been told "could have cost me and the families life". The underneath of the car is displaying signs it had previously been in an accident and never repaired properly and the drivers front wheel is held on by 2 wheel nuts. despite this car being "checked" prior to me buying it by century, i find it unbelieveable these issues where not found.

I phoned century today after recieving the news about my car. yet again, the same bad attitude from their "wheeler dealers".... "well what do you want from us"..... "we can fix the car for you at trade price".....Im (sorry but i dont rate your mechanics) and after asking to speak with the manager or someone in charge, the salesman very abruptly slammed the phone down. Good old customer service!!!!!!

Ive been driving round in that car with my 10 week old grandaughter and my family to be told it could have cost me a life!

Im sorry im not dealing with this company again. I have asked the reputable garage i took the car to to do a full investigation on this. This is pure negligence from a very unprofessional car dealership. Like previous reviews i wish i had read these reviews before considering to buy a car from them and hope that if you are reading this do not buy any vehicle from this dealer.

PS ive been forced to rate this 1 out of 5 star. I didnt want to rate it anything!!!!

Avoid These People At All Costs

I wish I checked this website before getting into an agreement with these people. If I had read the reviews here, I wouldn't have bothered with these guys. I feel sorry for the Australian girl (not South African), she's having to deal with all the mess created by her colleagues.

I've had a nightmarish experience with this car firm. I only managed to resolve the matter after I threatened legal action. When I told the top man this, he acted like a proper professional. He said he's covered and that I could do what I wanted. I could tell he'd heard this so many times before. But when it dawned on him that I was serious, he reluctantly made efforts to set things right.

Avoid them totally. They're not honest and cannot be trusted. These people give the trade a bad name and are not bothered at all. They're rogue traders and should be avoided.

it was the worst experience of my life.

everyone no's a salesman tells porkies, but the guys working here take the cake. the whole experience of buying a new car was ruined. We had problem after problem.

The only good thing I can say is that things got sorted after several irate phone calls to the idiot salesman when the poor south african girl who answers the phone got the brunt of my anger. she sat there listend to me & finally sorted it. She seemed like a pro at dealing with complaints coz she probably gets them all the time.
