*** Avoid At All Costs ***

A DESPICABLE COMPANY - **AVOID AT ALL COSTS **

Their Sales Manager lies to your face and tricks you into a deal that they categorically state that they 'won't make anything from' and you end up losing thousands.

No copies of paperwork given to me & multiple problems with the car.

Their Mission Statement is:

To deliver an outstanding customer motoring experience through honesty and trust

They have NO concept of honesty and if you trust them you end up losing thousands of pounds.

Their Company Values state:

Passion | Respect | Professionalism | Integrity | Recognition | Opportunity | Commitment

They have ZERO respect for their customers, NO professionalism or they would value their customers and not use dirty tricks, NOT ONE IOTA of Integrity or they'd stand by their word.

Their complaints procedure is a joke.

Their General Manager doesn't bother to turn up to a meeting with regards to your complaint - despite being fully available when the meeting was arranged & arranged to be with him.

Their General Manager doesn't read your letter of complaint - despite having had it for 24 hours after returning from holiday.

Do yourself and your bank balance a MASSIVE favour and go to EVANS HALSHAW instead.

Atrocious In All Departments !!

Having bought a brand new car from Bristol street motors in November 2012 it his been back to the garage on numerous occasions, my original problem was with the DAB radio but on receiving the car back with dents in the boot and the inside looking like a 10 year old car, after many more visit and countless telephone calls (to vauxhalls customer care center as well ) I received the car back with an audible radio but the rear inside boot around the back windscreen was all dirty hand marks, that was after being assured every thing was complete and been checked over by the Manager.

If you are buying any car think twice before visiting this garage ( no matter what offer they have on ) the incompetence runs throughout .all I wanted was the car to be repaired first time but after at least 5 or 6 return journeys no compensation or Appologies I would rather cath a Bus than buy another car from these clowns.

Bristol Street Motors' Head You Win Tails We Lose - V. Poor

I bought a car from Bristol Street in Newcastle in March 2009 and it was a good deal with a great service so when I received a letter in July 2011 regarding their "Heads You Win, Tails We Lose," offer I got in touch even although I had not even thought about replacing our car.

I spoke with a female sales person (sorry, can't remember their name) and the deal was that they would put me in a new (or newer car), take my current car and reduce our payments until the end of 2011 and give me a 32" plasma TV. Guess what, they couldn't get me in a new(or newer car) and reduce my payments and again guess what, they've not given me a TV (32" plasma or otherwise).

So I contacted their Customer Services twice via their website link and once by email to say what a bad service I'd had and to compound it, no-one had even bothered to respond to my very polite and erudite emails about the service. Guess what again: there's still no response.

To make matters worse, they wrote to me AGAIN with the same offer but this time offering a Sony Ipad 2 16Gb. Yeah, like I'm going to get back in touch again. Not!!!

So BRISTOL STREET, you planted the seed and ignored me, even when I said that I would be interested in a new car! So, on the 02nd Sept. 2011 I took receipt of a brand new Vauxhall motor car from Peter Vardy in Edinburgh who were great!

Match Result:

Bristol St/ Bristol St Customer Services - 0

Peter Vardy - 2 (Own goal by Bristol Street).

Bristol Street made an offer, couldn't meet their offer and then ignored me when I tried to get them to live up to it.

When you get such poor service (especially from a Customer Services office) hit them where it hurts; go and make your capital purchase from their competition.

This Garage Met All My Expectations And More. Afte

This garage met all my expectations and more. After walking out at Evan Helshaws because of horrendous service I drove direct to Bristol Street Motors in Newcastle (on the bank opposite the Mercedes garage) Where i was greeted with a welcome and a funny story on how the rear wheel Mercedes kept getting stuck on the bank. I then told him what I was looking for, he then showed me the vehicle I was looking for and got one of the Demo models ready to go for a drive, which we did. We then cam back and talked about my old car which he then continued to value. He then went to see the sales manager and came back with the normal over the top offer but continued to battle for a great deal, in the end he did us a brand new Vauxhall Astra for a lot less than the original pre registered one we were looking at. The sales person then told us the car would be ready two days later and that although this was his day off he would come in to sort it out, which he did. Excellent service, Excellent prices and wonderful cars. You would be nuts to buy anywhere else
