Unprofessional, Unorganised And Unapologetic!

This company need to go on a course to help them improve on their customer service skills!!!

After not booking in an automatic replacement car despite being asked to and having three weeks to get this sorted. I arrived at my early morning appointment with no apology and a lacklustre approach to their error.

Damaged My Car

I asked this garage to investigate a water leak into the driver and passenger behind the driver foot wells. The garage was in possession of my car for 6 days. After spending £650 to have problem fixed I collected my car to find that my car battery was damaged and meant I had to jump start my car constantly and that my boot alarm was damaged meaning "boot open" alarm was continuously sounding. When I reported these problems I was told that at no time had the garage opened my boot, were they not suppose to search for a leak and had carried out £650 worth of work without looking in the boot? My battery is ruined so I will have to replace it. Please never use this garage it is appalling!!!

Service Department Appalling

Vehicles are never ready on time, even very simple tasks take all day. Dropped my van off the day before it was booked so they could start on it first thing for a simple wheel replacement. I did not hear from them by 3.00pm so I rang them to be casually told they hadn't started it because they hadn't ordered the correct parts despite me giving them a weeks notice for the booking and explaining what it needed. They knew all day they couldn't do the job but just ignored me. Spoke to the service manager, no apology and even less interest. If you like good customer service, this isn't t the place for you!

Never Going Through Them Again!!

I purchased my Ford Fiesta from Cheltenham Bristol street on finance. I wasn't given much help and being young I didn't know a lot and this is how they get you hooked. I purchased an 11 plate last year. Only to find out (now in a relationship with a lad who works for ford) that for the price I pay at 230 a month I could of had a brand new one as my credit is decent aswel. I paid for extra warranty and had nothing but problems with the warranty. Also when I got the car I had to pay for petrol???? The bloke who sold it me made some very rude comments after I had signed the papers aswel which could of got him in a lot of trouble if I hadn't of been such an excited 19 year old. I brought the car in June 2014 so a year ago now. Biggest mistake of my life. Even rang up the finance people and payed off 1,000 to lower my payments and hardly touched it. I am gutted. Never ever go to Bristol street, rip OFF!!

Sales Department Fine, Service Department Awful

Bought my car and my warrant from Bristol Street. The sale was fine, but the car has had endless problems. The service department was awful - they diagnosed a problem but told me the car was safe to drive. A week later I break down and cause more damage to the car. They then say they can't even look at it for another week or provide me with a courtesy car (as agreed in my warranty!) - so I am carless for a week, and still have to deal with their poor mechanical and customer service.

Very poor communication from them!

My Girlfriends Fiat Bravo 58 Plate To Bristol Stre

My girlfriends fiat bravo 58 plate to bristol street motors Cheltenham after it failed it's mot with rear brake and emissions issues, after a brief check they diagnosed seized callipers that required replacing, new brake discs and pads, new hand brake cables and all four glow plugs with a bill of approximately £1600! She was distraught and rang me in tears, I organised a mechanic friend to have a look at it. The calipers were fine as we're the cables, he changed the discs and pads and replaced the glow plugs (only one of which needed replacing) sum total for the parts £114 and 1 hours labour £50!

Be very wary if you use these people, I have seen it before with other main dealers, huge bills for work that doesn't actually need doing, my advice is always get a second opinion!

Totally Rude And Disrespectful!

I rang Cheltenham Bristol Street Motors to sort out a finance deal on a Mazda2, spoke to James who I found rather rude and cocky with his replies to my questions, he took my number and said he'd get back to me with a finance deal, 4 days later and he hasn't go back to me. I think it's totally rude and disrespectful for him not to get back to me. They obviously don't want to sell cars if they don't have the manors to get back to people, I will never be going to a Bristol Street Motors dealership again! The reviews I have read are all right, stay clear from them!

Complete Disinterest

I phoned and arranged to visit Bristol St as I was very interested in buying a nearly new V W Touran and it involved a trip of 25 miles.

On arrival I was greeted with ' we're very busy - if you wait we might be able to deal with you later - which they weren't...

If they show this level of interest in selling you a car it doesn't bode well for after sales service !

Disappointing!

Rang Bristol street motors to take out a car on finance. Had the deposit money ready and was promised delivery that week. Staff seemed keen for my money in the beginning. Heard nothing from them for the rest of the week. Day of purchase arrived - still no contact. Rang at 11am, was told someone would ring me back! 4pm came, rang again. Was told there was a problem with my car so a new one was being assigned to me. Waited yet another week- totally kept in the dark, I done all the chasing, finally had a new date of delivery for my new car. In the meantime, after asking and asking, no details or photos from the new car was ever emailed to me. Hadn't heard from them in a while, after many hours of trying to get hold of someone he didn't have a clue what was going on and seemed very unconcerned about the whole thing. Rang day before my delivery date, was told yet another problem with the car and they would keep me updated. 6 HOURS LATER, Still nothing. So rang them myself to be told they wanted more information from me and insurance details. I instantly withdrew from the deal and went somewhere else. Was completely left in the dark and communication skills were poor. They never call you yo keep you informed and wait until you ring them, even then they promise you a call back in 30 mins which turns into hours and hours of waiting. Very poor customer service, communication skills and lack of interest in their customers! Would advise people to look elsewhere!!
