Bristol Street Motors/darlington Branch
I have bought a car from them and me and the dealer agreed for the car to be delivered to London where I live. The dealer told me that he will call me the next day to tell me when the car will be delivered. So the next day came, and no phone call from the dealer(his name is Mario). So I waited for the next day and I had a call from General manager of Darlington branch and I have explained the situation:I have £500 deposit taken from my credit card,I was told that I will be notified when my car will be delivered but I did't hear from Mario who promised to call me back.So the general manager told me that he will talk to him about my car.The general manager told me that he will call me back after he told me that he will put one of his technician to inspect de car again afer I've told him that if I find anything wrong with the car (when it was due to be delivered to me)I won't buy the car so he told me he understand and he will get back to me.
So the next day I have talked to the general manager of Bristol Motors Darlington Branch who told me that he can't sell me the car because his technician discovered a oil leak and they will have to take the head gasket down and strip it all down...I have been told that I will get a refund which I did in the end today after I've been messed up and waited for 4 days for a car which it implies to me in the end that they were trying to sell me a faulty car....nice practice Bristol Motors,A Vertu Company as it's stated on their website....
It is a shame thous because I thought that the customer service operator(Bob is it's name) tried to be very helpful with all my queries and he did his job very well,a true professional indeed, shame about the others!
So if you ever come across with Bristol Motors/A Vertu Company and you want to buy a car from them,I suggest to you to look elsewhere to avoid a lot of hassle!

Great Car Dealership Who Really Care About Their Customers
For my first new proper car I decided to shop around Burton on Trent and after a Saturday of disapointment called into Bristol Street Motors Citroen Burton.
Having experienced 2hrs in a bad large dealership (whom I won't name) on the edge of Burton the day before with pushy sales tactics I was partly dreading a possible second day of this.
On parking up I took a look outside at some of the cars. A really friendly chap Paul greeted me outside and asked if he could help and what I was ideally looking for (not pushy in any way at all and just trying to find out how best he could help me in my car search).
I was looking for a new used corsa so Paul explained we would have more of a choice by checking out on their computer as they had many dealerships in the group with Corsa in stock. I'd seen a car I liked on the website.
Unfortunately the car I had seen online had been sold but this was no issue as Paul, Adam and the team went to find some other Corsa's. Taking into account finding a low mileage and top condition car.
Paul introduced me to Adam who is their Business Manager.
After some quick searches we found some suitable cars and at no stage was sales pushy or over the top. Paul explained the cars were slightly more but my budget was perfectly calculated into this by Adam so it would work for me.
I was able to every step of the way feel relaxed and comfortable knowing that everyone in the dealership was looking after me and the whole process was very professional and smooth running.
On finding a couple of cars we narrowed it down to one which 100% fit the bill. We did some calculations which showed how I could save a considerable amount by getting rid of my old P reg corsa and investing in a well overdue new car.
All the paperwork and guidance was extremely clear and concise. We sorted the finance which was arranged perfect to my needs and I part exchanged my old car. The valuation was very fair too on my old car.
I sorted some of the final finance negotiations with Adam over the phone which were really quick and it showed that the team had been on the case of sorting the finance as soon as possible.
As a valued customer I will always come back to Bristol Street Motors Burton for top class service and a great selection of cars.
If you want to experience a dealership who know exactly what they are doing and are top notch on their standards I would every time recommend dealing with Bristol Street Motors they are the best.
Why don't you sign yourself with your real name before moaning about my post?!?!?!???
Why don't you sign yourself with a proper name? Sorry I thought I am writing in the correct forum.
And this has something to do with Bristol Street Motors Citroen, Burton on Trent??? I think not... why not post a review to the correct branch of Bristol Street Motors?
