Would Not Recomend!

We were told we could put a holding fee of £250 to secure a vehicle for a few days, which we did, however the sale of our vehicle fell through so we could not go ahead with the vehicle we wanted to purchase so we asked for our holding fee to be refunded and the receipt emailed to us so we knew it had been done.

4 times I rang requesting this and on the 5th call I spoke to the owner who was very rude and told me he would be keeping some of the money aside, to which I very quickly stated we we're told on two occasions that we would get a full refund no questions asked! To which he rudely replied " I'm sick of you people putting money down knowing your not in a position to carry on with it".

He kept going on at me and as I advised " why offer a service if you don't want people to use it!"

I told him we were advised to put the holding fee down.

I eventually got my refund and eventually got my receipt emailed to me!

I would never use this company again after the way I was spoken. He had no respect for the fact I was a woman and when I said I have my car back up for sale so will be still looking for a car, his attitude started to change, however I would not touch this company after the way I was treated!

Buyer Beware - No After Sales/untrue Claims

We bought a BMW X5 4 months ago, and it is a very nice car. However we were told it had full service history but that the service book was lost and that a new one would come in the post. Despite chasing this up, they never return calls and no book has ever turned up. We are going to get a new one ourselves but doubt the car has a full service history by BMW as we were told. Also we notice that they are advertising another BMW X5, that was for sale when we were looking. It is very enticing but does not exist. We were told that it had just been sold that day, but it is still being marketed. The company seem very plausible and friendly but it is just a sham.

Shocking After Sales Service

Bought an Audi from alliedtradesales.co.uk, 2-4 Wood Street, Old Town, Swindon, Wiltshire, SN1 4AB

Pre Sales , Fantastic, couldnt do enough, promised a 3 Months Warrant which I have in writing,

after a month got an engine management light on, took it to an Audi Specialist, sensor fault , needs repair, over £500 , reported this to Allied, get a report done etc, then the wiper motor went when i was driving, over £300 for a repair, sent the receipt.....All I have now is a lot of promises and no action, next stop court

Would I buy again from them.....no and nor would i advise anyone else to

Shocking Allied Trade Sales Swindon

If I could give no stars would do, naively bought a Discovery 3 HSE off this garage, bought over the internet, turned up fairly late at night having flown in from Norway. Straight away bald tyre noticed, drove around for a bit not too bad, I was told I had a life time warrenty for the ownership of the vehicle, the only reason I bought it from them, within a week problems started to appear Coolent leaks, HDC faults, shocks, brakes etc... absolute nightmare car, over the two years I owned the vehicle I put 7000 miles on it. Took it to a LR Dealer recently 1000's to fix all problems Early on tried to get in touch with their salesman fobbed me off at every stage, never gave me the promised warrenty unfortunately I live in Dundee and work away a lot so could'nt just pop around I'm seeing it as a lesson learnt, obviously the hard way. Hopefully you will learn from my mistake. Avoid at all costs I cannot stress that enough. Allied Trade Sales unbelievable.

Buyer Be Very Aware!!!

BUYER BE VERY AWARE!!!

Brought a car for £7500 in Feb 2010, a lot of money to my young family. Then a fault light appeared next day. Took to dealer as it was a serious fault light. 4 hours later, £3500 quote for works to be done.

ATS (Richard Dolan) refused to believe this and eventually sent his “tame” yet aggressive mechanic to view the car. Mechanic found the same issues and more, and sent report to Richard Dolan. I even offered to get the work done at a local garage rather than main dealer….

Various letters were sent to Richard Dolan and various promises to pay or assist were made, but never followed through.

Various sob stories from Richard, “we’re closing down” “no sales” etc.

However still trading and stock flowing via there website, and undercover calls made to view cars and he is still trading.

Took Allied Trade Sales and Richard Dolan to court, court judging in my favour. However no action from him, no payments made.

I attended court, Richard Dolan was a no show but sent a letter stating that he had offered assistance but I had declined……absolute horseradish.

So had to spend £1500 getting the car road legal, money which I didn’t have.

Sent bailiffs to his Wood Street address, but they were turned away as he said that ATS had no assets.

The man just doesn’t care.

He comes across as really friendly and caring but purchase from him with extreme caution.

He is associated with another company called Allied Vehicle Consultants also based in Swindon.

So, he has a County Court Judgement against his name and he can only clear that by paying me.

I would strongly suggest that all do the same.

I do have his home address if further legal paperwork needs serving.

Bought A Car In Feb, Got It Home And That Evening

Bought a car in Feb, got it home and that evening noticed a serious fault, contact Richard at Allied straight away and was advised, get the work done locally (we do not live that close to Swindon) and we will sort out the payment, big mistake, 6 weeks later and several polite e-mails to them, still no money. Also did not receive the paint they promised. Seemed very nice at the time, but once money was received, forget it. Not worth taking to small claims court but if this review stops one other person making the same mistake, hey, thats great, buyer be warned!
