Horrific Service, Horrific Experience Overall
Bought a car from here with a so called 3 month warranty..within 3 days the suspension light came on..what followed was a nightmare..multiple trips back to the abbey...The owner avoids calls...do not go to abbey if you want a quality and value for money vehicle....

Used Car Disaster!
Bought a second hand car from this dealership and it's been the worst transaction I have ever experienced. The car developed a recurrent engine fault which the dealer, despite claiming to, failed to resolve; I have had to resort to liaising with the finance company to seek a resolution. For a £6k vehicle i have been faced with a £3k repair bill so far. I know buying second hand can be a bit of a lottery but Think carefully before you buy from this company.

Just Bought Our Forth Car From Abbey
I am now on our forth car from the garage, in 6 years ive had 2 and also my children have bought one each, in the last 2 years we have been very happy with service and also now that they do mot and servicing as well .
Seemed Good, Turned Out Bad
When I originally bought my car from Abbey automotive I was quite pleased with the service, the problems arose after taking the car home.
Credit where credit is due, a problem with the engine management system as I drove away from the dealer was corrected straight away at no cost to me. There, however, the positive ended. Within 2 months of the purchase of the car the rear brake calipers began to stick- despite being assured that the car had been given a thorough service including brakes, when inspected the calipers were absolutely filthy, corroded and needed replacing. Either the mechanic knows nothing about brakes or the service was not done as stated.
The V5 for the car was not provided at the time and the dealer said it had been sent off. a couple of months afterwards I emailed the dealer saying I had ot received the paperwork, he said he would "get his paperwork back from the accountant and get back to me." After a month of hearing nothing I emailed him again, this time he was dismissive, saying the V5 had been lost by the government! When asked for the date the V5 was sent to the DVLA and the reason why the new owners supplement was not passed on he just stopped replying to emails, suggesting he had been lying all along and had never had the V5.
Trust is important when buying a car, this place cannot be trusted
