Yorkshire Building Society Internet Saver

I cant get to the site in fact it seems to freeze the computer big problems not good if you need to move money about in a hurry. I would love to open an account but have given up and gone to the post office site which opens in a flash

The internet saver online account with YBS has been recommended as one of the best in the national press, but just try and get on to the website and open an account. There seems to be a big problem with the site, and thousands of would-be investors must be giving up in the attempt!

This account is somewhat market leading. It offers an attractive interest rate (common with all YBS accounts) but also allows for internet flexibility (which makes up for the limited branch network).

Uniquely, you can deposit on the website through debit card payments - which is quite useful if you want quick deposits without the BACS/CHAPS timescales.
