Worst Ever!!

Internet banking should help you with yours up to date traking money flow..not with BOI!!! Constantly giving wrong, not up to date balance info, surprising you with overdraft every now and then and charging for one too. Absolutely useless!!!!!

I never ever write a review but Boi internet banking makes me mad!

Worst Business Banking

Never have I experienced a bank like BoI, from constant Java problems with the online BUSINESS bank, to 'security updates' locking me out of using the digital certificate, to waiting 20 mins on the 'Help'line, to the branch being the most unhelpful ever. I am constantly frustrated with the online banking digital certificate, constantly having to update the numerous passwords. I can't say it loudly enough - STAY AWAY!

Awful!!!

is the whole idea of internet banking that its instant and easy to use?Not if your bank is bank of Ireland!! To transfer money to pay someone I have to wait 5 days on a payee code arriving in the post. When I rang up I was told it could be sent straight to my mobile. But wait for it, to register my phone also takes 5 days. Id be quicker sending the payment on a pigeon! totally ridiculous

When Problems Arise Difficulties Getting Someone To Talk To

charges for everything. On credit card statement no continuous balance when deductions made so you never know when you are in credit. Takes over 24 hours to transfer cash from debit account to credit card ac., and be prepared to make at least 3 phone calls lasting up to 15/20 minutes to get through to an "agent". I think it time to leave this customer not friendly bank

With A Doubt, In My Opinion, The Bank Of Ireland I

With a doubt, in my opinion, the Bank of Ireland is one of the worst banks I have ever dealt with. Their telephone banking service is so inferior, it's hard to believe. They told me today that a Direct Debit which had been presented in the morning was returned unpaid...yet when I lodged to cover the same Direct Debit later that same day, it was paid. It really does appear to me 'that the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing' when it comes to Bank of Ireland's telephone service.

Avoid this bank at all costs...you have been warned!!!!

Bank Of Irelands Business Online Offering Is A Cle

Bank of Irelands Business Online offering is a clear indication that they have spent zero euros on maintaining an uptodate web site. The functionality of the user interface is by far the worst I have used. It is difficult, unintuitive, lacks clear help facilities, does not have 24 help line. I can not stress enough how bad this software is. If you are considering an online banking solution - your best bet is to look elsewhere as you WILL be dissappointed with this poor solution. As Ireland is in the depth of recession don't expect this product to be upgraded any time soon. Over all review - a very poor effort from BOI!! :(

Absolutely F@ck|ng Sh|t! No Need To Sugar-coat.

Absolutely F@ck|ng Sh|t! No need to sugar-coat. With the BOL site I can (just about) view my balance. Thats it. Seriously. The guy who came to install it, when I first opened the account, couldnt even get it working. He was at my house for 3 hours and eventually had to submit defeat and leave for another job!

Seriously, its not that hard. Technology has evolved, webapps have evolved. I have online banking with HSBC too, which didnt require a man, an engineer no less, having to enter my home and scratch his head for 3 hours. HSBC is just an effortless joy compared to this clunking,mad-scientist,got-to-change-the-password every-3-months,cant-transfer or CHAPS,steaming PILE of compu-t@rd. BoI's customer services, however, are just lovely people. Double thumbs up. Which is handy when you have to spend so much time talking to them....

Avoid like a plague of soul-eating locusts, would have recieved zero stars if it was an available option.

I Have Used Online Banking In Different Countries

I have used online banking in different countries and now try to manage my money mainly from outside Ireland. The Bank of Ireland Internet Banking experience is by far the worst one I have had ever, anywhere. Just the amount of stuff you have to go through to have it set-up in the first place. Then, when you think the worst is over and you can finally go ahead with your transactions, you have to go through endless layers of stuff just to move your money from one account to another.

I Believe It Wouldn't Be An Issue If All The Servi

I believe it wouldn't be an issue if all the services would come in a bundle. For example if a person had overseas transactions to be automatically registered to manage them online too. Or if you have a loan to be able to view it and process pending payments online again automatic-without having to call the Customer Service desk.

Regards.
