Washington Mutual - WaMu

Washington Mutual Bank are lacking somewhat in the customer service department from what i have seen. The closing of the loan I was involved with was reschudeled 3 times with a total delay of over 1 week with no apparant reason. After the final closing when the title company had already the money from the bank they were instructed to wire it back because the buyers "ratio" was not right and more papers needed to be reviewed. (The ratio is determined at the beginning of the loan process, not after all parties had signed.) It took the bank another day to get their act right. If you want to make your home buying process hassle free there are many banks to use but i would not recommend WaMu. Good luck and strong nerves.

My whole family has WaMu and we have all been screwed over by them one way or another, that is why we are all planning to switch to another bank.
