Shouldn't Charge So Much For An Overdraft
Great current account for using abroad. Better approach to some product rates now they're part of Yorkshire Building Society. They really shouldn't charge a monthly fee on top of interest for an overdraft. That's just a rip off! Should not have closed the Gibraltar branch. It's not showing commitment to all of your customers.

My Local Branch Of N & P Closed Down So I Moved My
My local branch of N & P closed down so I moved my current account to the Co-operative Bank. This was on March 8th and today May 15th I am still waiting for N & P to transfer the balance. Numerous phone calls to their Customer Service get me nowhere. Each time I am told the money will be transferred the same day but after being told this on three separate occasions my patience is wearing thin. At one point I had a letter from N & P telling me the money had been successfully transferred to the Co-op. After a few days and no action I once again telephoned Customer Service and mentioned the name on the letter. After a lenghty wait, they came back and told me they had no one of that name working for N & P.
Today I received yet another letter telling me my account was closed, but where is the money.
The same with the transfer of my N & P Cash Isa, They were requested on March 5th to transfer the account to Lloyds. Similar situation, today May 15th and despite calls from the Lloyds manager we are getting nowhere.
Avoid this so called Bank at all costs.

I Would Whole Heartedly Recommend Norwich And Pete
I would whole heartedly recommend Norwich and Peterborough Building Society. As yet I have not found a single reason to find one single fault. Even though there isn't a branch near me, if you happy to telephone and/or Internet bank, then this is the place for you. I am not an employee, but if they treat their staff as they treat their customers, then it'd be a great place to work.
