Total Lack Of Service - A Complete Joke
I can only echo what the other reviewer has said. I joined Private Banking/Private Clients because I thought I would be looked after. Instead I have been sold products that are totally unsuitable for me and I have lost a substantial sum of money as a result. You can never get through to your 'Relationship Manager' (a term which is a complete joke), and even if you do there is little point. There is nothing different about a Private Banking account to a standard Bank of Scotland bank account - and that is extremely poor.
Any little matter seems to be sooooooo much trouble to them, and rarely gets sorted out. Be prepared to spend ages on the phone if you do have a problem.
Bank of Scotland used to be a very good bank many years ago. I don't know what has gone wrong with the Halifax merger, the Lloyds takeover, and now being part of the public sector, but this is a very poor bank indeed and I would recommend people avoid it like the Plague.
I have since moved to First Direct/HSBC, and they are very good. Worlds apart.

Sadly, Bank Of Scotland Private Banking Flexible Current Account in general does not appear willing to put any effort in to supporting this service. Without that effort this is no better than any other HBOS current account, which seems to be pretty poor.
