Absolutely devastated that we chose to move with Bourkes. The customer seevice is appalling - office staff were incredibly rude if you came to them with any problem. The quote made was completely inaccurate and box quote was doubled which we only found out about as the moving van was ready to leave - though there were multiple opportunities for staff to inform us at a more convenient time. When we were informed of this it was in an abrupt and rude manner and false accusations were made that we had been expected to have less belongings in the house at the time of the move. This has since been denied so I would advise recording any contact with the admin team. Staff wouldn't leave the property or allow us to question this change of price at the time and we found this very intimidating. Trying to question the vast increase, when many boxes were half filled at best, was met with an aggressive attitude and staff are not willing to communicate/listen to complaints in any way. Multiple items are damaged and trying to reclaim any cost is so far impossible. I wouldn't use Bourkes again under any circumstance and would urge any friends or family to go elsewhere.

Cannot rate the company high enough they helped me out in my hour of need excellent service from start to finish very reasonable the removal men were so helpful polite and friendly couldn't do enough to help me they actually made the moving day stress free and enjoyable. Don't look anywhere else.

We were in the unusual situation of having two removal companies for the same home, due to extended family. My brother used Bourkes and we used Shiftit, both local companies. The difference between them was like using salt instead of sugar. Two of the three staff members of Bourkes were nice and amenable, whilst one member of staff was surly and quite obviously not happy with his working day. No carpet coverings were used in the hallway,items were moved in some cases without due care and attention etc, I was horrified at the attitude displayed to my brother whilst our movers could not have been more obliging and customer focused, please avoid Bourkes if you want a stress free and rewarding customer experience.

We recently moved home and hired Bourkes Removals because they provided a very good quote. They were very friendly since the initial call and overall provided a great service. Highly recommended!
