I Agreed To Go With This Company To Get A Quick Sa

I agreed to go with this company to get a quick sale for my house at the start on November 2018. By the start of February 2019, I was no further forward.

After much chasing they then came back with a 'final offer', £40K+ lower than their initial offer- which of course I declined. After much research, I discovered this is a common tactic used by webuyanyhome.com.

They wasted 3 months of my time and cost me hundreds of pounds in legal fees.

Great Fast Service

We Buy Any Home provided an excellent service and purchased my house in 2 weeks, they paid the legal fees for the solicitor which was an extra saving and less hassle for me in going out to find a solicitor.

The offer provided on my house was straightforward and they had been upfront about how it works and how much to expect. They also used two local estate agents to confirm the value of my house. During the process I got regular up-dates by telephone and email from a member of the team.

I would have no hesitation in recommending We Buy Any Home to anyone who is thinking of selling their property and need to sell it fast.

Do Not Deal With This Company

webuyanyhome.com valued my property at £95,000 initially, then when the agent came out the offer was reduced to £88,000.

Solicitors was instructed, a completion date set which was a little over 28 days after the date the agent came out.

They phoned and asked if we could complete earlier to which I willingly agreed, but no date was suggested, however the original date came and went. When I telephoned the solicitor they said that they had as yet not had a contract from them and when they did it would have to be sent out to us.

When I then emailed webuyanyhome. asking when they intended to complete the offer was reduced to a ludicrous £35,000.

Needless to say I laughed at him, he sent me an email after I hung up on him with a report from the agent who had originally said that most of the property was great and ready to move into saying that the property was in poor condition and in need of modernization.

The property was originally purchased for £100,000 ten years previously, about £25,000 to £30,000 had been spent on it in improvements, including rewiring, damproofing, new central heating boiler and an extension that was completed but internally needed finishing (having run out of money I was unable to finish), the property needed a maximum of £10,000 spending in order to bring to the highest standard, as a 4 bedroomed semi detached property with two reception rooms, parking for two cars and a single detached garage, the property was ex local authority but it was large by any standard and was on a nice street in a nice area within walking distance of a lovely lake set in woodland and close to good transport links.

YET THESE IDIOTS OFFERED £35,000,  they compared it with properties that had sold cheap, but they did not bear similarity to mine, they also said my property was sold to me cheaper than the actual purchase price which was completely untrue.

Needless to say they lost out because i did not sell them my property and I would hope no one else is foolish enough to deal with them either.
