I agree DO NOT USE FLATEMATECLICK.CO.UK - I was sent there by Globrix, and being a trusing sort I signed up £14 to subscribe and be able to contact flatshares in Wales.

I found one and emailed it. Nothing happened, no reply to my message so I send another one, still nothing

Every 3 days the autosearch would email me on new flatshares found (that worked!) BUT it was just letting me know about something I already had found and had tried to make contact from.

The weird thing is the 'ad' I was trying to reply to keeps relisting itself every 3 days or so but nobody ever replies.

I think this website is like those scam dating sites, where so called profiles actually MAY be fakes!

They are added to make the site look larger than it is, and are really there to TAKE YOUR MONEY - fooling you into believing you will actually be able to find something when using the website.

Has ANYONE ever got anywhere with this website?

I didn't - and am warning you in case you make the same mistake as I did!

I emailed the 'email David' button asking for assistance - guess what happened, NOTHING!

Stay well away from this website, it's a rip-off! They have a pledge http://www.flatmateclick.co.uk/misc/pledge.aspx but it seems worthless.

Of course if David (the so called site owner) ever replies .....OR by a miricle the ad replies, I may change my view on this and will let people know here, but somehow I doubt I'll be hearing from any of them...

Stay well away from these guys. They are USELESS!!! If you have any sense you will spend your money on anyone but these guys.I agree with the above,there is no way of contacting the other members directly and it does rely on both parties having membership which defeats the whole purpose of helping you find a flatmate.If i would have known how ineffective this service was, i wouldnt have parted with my money.

appaulingly structured and maintained website, useless postcode valdation & search, next page buttons malfunctioned, specific user defined filters revert to default after selecting next page of results.

Flatmate Click have not many real live flatmates on their website - like 3!. When I complained they closed my account - but kept my £50

Can't view pictures unless you register with Flatmate Click. Can't find out more about the renter unless you upgrade, only details about rent and utilites. If someone contacts you, you can't email them back unless you sign up. It's £22 for 7 days. Essentially, to contact someone i'm interested in by email, it would cost me £22.

I paid for one weeks full access and applied to many adverts...also, many people replied to me showing they were very interested in a possible houseshare. BUT, when I sent replies back and tried to arrange a viewing through the site, and I'm still waiting for a reply.

I agree with the previous reviewers on the 11/2 and 12/1. I spent '£25.00 for 1 month. I had people trying to contact me for the room I have. But they wouldn't or couldn't (no Credit card) pay the fee. I have given up and will try the local paper instead. What I should have done in the first place. Flatmateclick is also connected with fish4.com.

I also think flatmateclick.co.uk is a waste of time and money.

When you pay to become a Full Member you apparently gain 'Full Contact Priveledges' for potential flatmates, but THIS IS NOT TRUE.

You do not not gain access to ANY contact details, instead you gain the 'priveledge' of sending emails only through their website; and your emails can only be read by other members that have also paid.

I have written to flatmateclick.com's Customer Service team asking for a full refund, but have had received no response whatsoever.

This is a website that gets you excited about contacting a potential flatmate, only to provide you with no means of contacting them unless you both pay a sum of money during exactly the same week. (now what are the chances of that?)

This website is a complete waste of time, even the price that they have written on their website is wrong. As soon as you think about paying some money it goes onto another website with more expensive prices. My log in details didnt work and when I tried new ones they didnt work either, I followed every instruction carefully and it was absolute rubbish. Luckily I paid 25 for a week of advertisements to try it out and got nothing, I also complained about it by email but it never got sorted out. If anyone is really desperate to find a house mate please dont come to this website.

Needs to offer a better, cheaper deal. Eg easyroommate £5 for 10 days access.
