I contacted Easy EPC on a Wednesday afternoon to book an appointment for an EPC for a property that we had placed on the market earlier that morning. Later that evening I received a call from the inspector who arranged to visit the property the following evening at 6pm. The visit took about 60mins and I was informed that the certificate would be ready to download within a couple of days. The certificate was actually ready to print off at 10am on the Friday morning, I sent the information to the estate agent and the property sold later that afternoon.

The service from start to finish was first class and I would not hesitate to use Easy EPC again.

Easy EPC carried out a legionnaires assessment on my flat that I rent out. They handled all the admin and arranged the appointment very quickly through our managing agents. Although i was not present at the appointment, they let me know in length about how they surveyed the flat and the results as well as sending multiple pictures. The price was very reasonable, cheaper than a discount rate the managing agents were offering. I was pleased with the friendliness and professionalism of the survey and would use them again for any further legionnaires assessments or EPC's.

Easy EPC is a booking agency that subcontracts jobs to independent surveyors. I booked an appointment quite easily and the surveyor turned up on time but that's the end of the good service. The surveyors firsts words to me were "I can't do this job, it's too big and I have 3 other appointments to go to.". Apparently, my house was too big and not enough time had been allocated. I had been asked questions about the size of my home and how many bedrooms it had by Easy EPC but apparently the booking agent was inexperienced and hadn't taken this information into account. The surveyor stayed for about 20 minutes and then left saying he couldn't complete the job! A few minutes later, I had a call from Easy EPC saying they were sorry but they'd have to reschedule the appointment and charge me an extra £40 on top! I said that I'd been inconvenienced and didn't feel I should have to pay any additional amount so I was transferred to a company director. He was very abrupt, quite rude and certainly had no idea of customer service. He said he didn't much care if I'd been inconvenienced and if I wanted to pay the extra, they'd do the job otherwise I could go elsewhere. I chose the latter not wanting any more to do with such a disreputable company. My advice....stay away from this company, they are sharks. Go straight to the surveyor directly and cut out the middle man!
