Avoid this company for property management

I can't think of one thing that has been done correctly. It's hard to believe they have any staff or management. No communication, no follow up. They lose checks and the first class letters they send out tend not to arrive.

One out of 6 or more phone calls don't get a reply and staff are impossible to

contact. A complete nightmare. I can't even give it one star, but can't send this review unless one star is ticked

Absolutely appalling!

Basic maintenance of the property is not performed.

Allocated budget for maintenance seems to just disappear without the work being completed.

Very poor communication. Replies can take weeks.

Mint Property Management / Pembertons Property Management are a useless company, I told them I was renting my flat out but they still sent the new parking permits to my flat address addressed to me. I didn't see it, my tenant didn't open the letter as it was addressed to me. So he didn't have a parking permit to park at the flats and his car got towed away. I, as the landlord, had to pay £590 for the tenant to get his car back and when I complained to Mint (now Pembertons) they said they were unaware I was renting the flat out!!!!

I them showed them emails I sent prior to this which proved they were aware it was rented out to tenants (for instance I got them to send keys to my letting agents rather than to me as I was not living there) and they finally admitted it was their mistake. However they flatly refused to refund me the £590 or take it off my service charge fees.

Absolutely useless!!!
