CIB Letting

The flats they rent out might be okay but the people themselves make the life of the tenant hell. They office workers are not co-operative at all, unreasonable and very rude.

They expect the tenants to do what they will and treat them as some lowly people who they need to get money from in every way they can. They only suck up to the landlords, from whom they get their payment from, but forget the importance of the tenants who are the ones paying the landlord.

These CIB lettings are the worse letting agency and I would definitely not recommend this to anyone out there. Even though initially they will act very nice soon you will realise the huge mistake you made by taking help from these con-artists.

The whole team is the same and that comes from personal and other people’s experience.

Again, worst agents- save your-selves!

CIB let my flat promptly, and apart from one 10-month period, did collect the rent in time. They organised some repairs on the property (sometimes the necessity for them was flagged up by neighbours rather than the tenants or CIB). The people there were always pleasant on the phone.

However, in years I never had a written report of a flat inspection. My request to have the windows repainted was ignored. I am fairly sure my flat was being sublet (I saw an advert for a room in it in a local paper!). There were no suggestions of maintenance required whilst the property was in their hands - consequently I have had to invest significantly to bring it back up to a good standard of repair.

I would only recommend this company if you are able to make visits yourself and organise repairs independently.
