Steer Well Clear Of This Agency

I wouldn't give any star rating. Do not touch Chase de Vani or whatever name they try and hide behind (Housing Enterprise Solutions/Assured Rent Ltd) with a barge pole. They are the most unprofessional, incompetent, unpleasant, horrendous company I've had the misfortune of having to deal with. Unsurprisingly they lost a major contract with a large landlord who also refuse to deal with them any further. They gave me years of aggravation. Many tenants I spoke to also found them dodgy and clearly underhand, using bullying and threatening tactics. They exploit the most vulnerable members of society. Steer well clear.

Extremely Unprofessional

When I first went to view a property with Chase de vani they turned up 35 mins late. I then tried to arrange a second viewing subsequently for the day after and it took 3 or 4 phone calls to keep chasing. When I turned up at the property for the second viewing it became apparent that the tenant had not been notified of the viewing. I decided to put in an offer for the property for the asking price 30 minutes after seeing the property for the second time only to be told that he had been let already.

I Lived In A Property Managed By Chase De Vani For

I lived in a property managed by Chase De Vani for a year, they are by far the worst letting/management agent I have come accross.

They were so consistently incompetent it was hard to believe they weren't being malicious. Completely unable to deal with even the most straightforward of maintenance issues and unbearable to deal with.

I would strongly reccomend you stay away from Chase De Vani, nothing in the world would convince me to rent a property from them again.

I Feel That Offer And Acceptance In General Moral

I feel that offer and acceptance in general moral codes is a verbal agreement. I was in a position to meet the offer but on morale grounds I simply let the apartment go and collected my holding deposit. My logic is that how can one enter a dutch auction on property once trust has broken down. If the letting agent and landlord are not able to follow a simple offer and acceptance verbal agreement then how can I trust my family to be safe in their property. It is not a perfect world but I would not recommend Chase-De-Vani to anybody!
