They Lied to the property owner and to the tenants in order to withhold rent and deposit. Did not ensure that the property was kept in good order as per contract. Repairs made by their maintenance person were cheap and poorly done. Never again.

It seems that all the bad reviews of the past have not taught them anything. Tobin Jones has now moved into another area after selling the estate agents, which is property management (a joke in itself). Do not be charmed by him, steer clear!

It took over 4 weeks to get a move-out review. That was full of rubbish. Challenged it so they tried to add more on to it to bully us into paying. I took them to TDS to claim it back. They then tried telling me they didn't have to return it for 3 months. They also added on a £60 fee for 'renewing' the contract when we just let it roll into a periodic tenancy (they took absolutely no action). A completely shocking estate agent which gives all of the rest a bad name.

Worst experience ever! Staff not helpful and rude. They don't care about anything just your money. It takes them way too long to fix anything and staff are sly when you try to speak to them. At the start they promise you anything you want to hear ,just to get in to their TRAP! Please AVOID them!

When I was looking at the property I met previous tenants and they told me not to move in and told me all about their experience .But I thought its ok , might be different if I let with them. The previous tenants lived there only 6 months. I didn't realized at the time that they lived there only 6monts Now I know why . The agency not managing properties ,they managing your payments.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS, WILL MAKE YOUR LIFE A MISERY. MR TOBIN JONES THINKS HE IS A LAW ABOVE HIMSELF. COCKY, DISRESPECTFUL MAN WITH NO CONSIDERATION FOR ANYONE BUT HIMSELF. ALL HE CARES ABOUT IS GETTING YOUR MONEY.

My friend recently starting working for Tobin Jones Property and they told me that the staff write the positive reviews! I hope this website looks into this and takes them down!

I decided to rent through Tobin jones as, although another local agent had a flat I was very interested in, the fees at Tobin jones turned out lower.

From viewing the house through to the contract signing, everything was explained really well(I'm a first time renter!) and they called me with updates so I knew how everything was going. When I went in to sign the contracts I met my new property manager who was very friendly and knew all the answers to my questions straight away. She really put me at ease when I was a bit scared about signing lots of scary paperwork!!

Since moving into my house, I've not had any problems. The only thing was when I came home and had no hot water. I emailed my property manager and she sent an engineer the same day who fixed the problem.

I don't have any experience of other agents but I would definitely recommend Tobin jones. The staff are lovely and have made everything stress fee. I have heard some nightmare stories from friends about their agents but I'm happy to day I haven't had any problems.

I rented two of my properties through Tobin Jones for a total of almost ten years. They got me good rents, kept the tenants happy and I thoroughly recommend them to any landlord. They don’t blur the lines and gave me a really good service.

Tobin Jones are not only con artists, they don't seem to know the laws surrounding property management and contracts, and I had to point out to them simple contract law that they had even quoted in their contracts, but didn't seem to understand!

The staff do not pass on messages, but make endless promises of action with no result, which is an absolute nightmare if you are working full time and have very little time to sort out any problems, as we found out when we moved out of the property we rented from them earlier this year.

They charged us for cleaning the property, but refused to provide any kind of evidence for the cleaning being needed when asked. They tried every excuse in the book to get money from us, and were incredibly rude and unprofessional when queried on specific points.

We have just moved to the area so we not sure of which agents to avoid, they are definatley to be avoided!!

We moved into a house which had not been cleaned and was disgusting with rabbit poo right outside the back door, even knowing we have 3 children under 4they left it there. They swore blind they had it professionally cleaned yet couldn't produce proof when asked for it, its sickening to think it was left in this state because the owners daughter lived here, goes to show how much respect they have for their tenants!!

We went through credits checks and all that, shame they didnt do the same checks for the apparent landlord as we have been here for 3 weeks and now been sevred with a possesion order for the property, we will be evicted! The person we have a tenancy agreement with (and pay our hard earned money to) is not even the landlord, yet even after knowing this they are still happy to take our money even though it is effectivley illegal!!

Will never deal with these untrained money grabbing monkeys again!!
