Should Be Called Time2con

'-- the singing of the contract' (their words from the contract not mine) things went down hill very fast. If you look up the Estate Agents' governing body, their Code of Practice states that if the estate agent has anything to do with the property being rented eg a member of staff owns the property then they have a duty of care to inform you of the fact, so that you can decide whether you wish to go ahead with the rental or not. So when renting with them please ask, as it turns out that my ex-landlord has strong connections with the company and I have actually seen him working in the office. The company however told me that they were under no obligation to inform me of any vested interests. He is the Director of Time2Move Nationwide however.

Problems with new boiler for 5 months leading me to eventually call in Gas Safe who then informed me that the boiler installation did not comply with current building regulations and as such the installer would have to come back and sort this out, however this was not attended to whilst I was there and would be done after I had moved out. My suspicions were that the delay was due to the fact that the contractor who installed the boiler signed my signature on a Gas Safety certificate and then blamed an admin person who's name he refused to give, most likely because they never existed. However, unfortunately all this was hard to prove so no real action has been taken on it.

The companies' communication is absolutely terrible and they have even ignored certain questions I have asked and you don't know where you stand with them due to this.

I would recommend that if you are looking to rent somewhere, then avoid this company like the plague as from what I have read about them plus my own experiences you won't be getting value for money, just a whole lot of stress.

Great Service

I had never rented before. Time2Move were extremely helpful in going through the process and taking the time to explain everything. Additionally, I never felt at any point as if they were trying to take advantage of my lack of experience. They were good at keeping in contact and showing us new properties which would suit us as soon as they were available for viewings.

Worst Agent I've Ever Dealt With

I rented a property from Time2Move, without doubt the worst agents I've ever dealt with. Repairs not done properly, repairs not done, serious damp in the property, unscheduled entry (I know this, as their handyman left tools on my bed!), extortionate renewal fees, rude staff who've not mastered the use of the 'hold' button. My keys handed to them to have repairs done, only for the keys to then go missing. A rent increase of 45 percent. them not bothering to turn up when they've organised viewings. Me having to show people around and then Im told 'well at least someone is doing our job'. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional bunch of people. Avoid!!!

Report Them To Trading Standards

T2M frequently charged me for repairs that never took place, and stole my property so I reported them to Trading Standards. If you've had a similar experience I urge you to do the same. Trading Standards can only investigate and shut them down if they get enough reports. It's time we stopped them.

Thanks I will. Careful. T2M are not reliable or accountable. They don't screen their tenants, despite charging the land lord for this service, they are not to be trusted. They put a family in my small one bedroom flat that was way too small for all of them. When I asked time 2 move to end the agreement they refused saying all is good, despite - there being an occupation limit in the agrement. I was left with T2M bills as they take their % upfront and then 3 court bills, lawyers bills and a loss of income. Thanks T2M....

Time2move (t2m, Time2move.com) Are Terrible Estate Agents

These so called estate agents are lazy, arrogant, rude and unprofessional. They offer a poor service to landlords, tenants and buyers/sellers at an inflated price. They dont communicate with their clients, they are hard to get hold of, they often dont answer their phones and they ignore messages because they are lazy and unprofessional. Avoid them like the plague. They are not registered with any professional bodies because they are so terrible. Good estate agents are ARLA or NAEA registered. Also means if you have a complaint about them there is no means of resolving it. They are AWFUL. Avoid at all costs.

Absolutely Appauling

Thank goodness I found this review site in time. Clearly I'm not alone in being SO disappointed by this company.

I booked a viewing in advance to view a rental property, had a confirmation of the viewing on the phone and by email and the guy seemed fairly nice and pleasant.

I turned up to the house with my housemates, we waited 30 minutes and the agent never showed up. No email, voicemail, text message - nothing to suggest there was a problem with the viewing.

I emailed in the morning and have still not received an apology. I rang to make a complaint and the manager apparently wasn't in. I was told I would get an email from him, and of course never did.

After reading the reviews I'm glad I didn't get sucked into this hellhole, I would never pay such astronomical fees for such poor customer service.

Rude, Contract-breaking Scumbags

Time2Move are awful, and here's why:

1. Constantly arrange viewings with prospective buyers for the property I live in, at short notice, in violation of my contract.

2. Fail to turn up for said viewings, leaving prospective buyers hanging around outside my front door, ringing my doorbell.

3. Let themselves in to my property whenever they feel like it, regardless of whether I'm home or not.

4. Left a window open during one of their unscheduled, unannounced visits. When I came home I thought there'd been a break-in.

5. Are rude and unprofessional on the phone.

6. Took months to arrange for structural damage to the property's roof to be fixed.

Avoid like the plague. No wonder they can't sell my property.

The Best Estate Agent In London

I have been greatly pleased by the estate agent Time2move as I have just sold my property for a great profit and in quick time. The manager and staff were extremely professional and the nicest people I had ever met. They cared for the clients and wanted to help me out by understanding the situation I was in. I would recommend this estate agent to anyone who wants a property sold or let.

Sounds like a school book report for T2M none the less lol!

Clearly written by someone at Time2Move, they are liars and frauds and cannot be trusted

rosieawilson

This isnt a real review - its clearly been written by someone at Time to Move - pathetic!

Time2movescam

They are rubbish, I will never use them again. I have been the victim of their smooth talking and lack of process, they got me a tennant from hell, with doing a means test. They proceeded to move a family of four into a 1 bedroom apartment, this same family cannot pay the rent, and T2M, do not chase them up of return my call. I mean this they are bad and I will have my day in court, whereby I sue for the loss of income and damage to my investment.

The Worst Property Agency In London - Probably

I can't speak from a tenant's point of view, only from a landlord's.

They are without doubt *the* most unprofessional and singularly awful property agency that I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.

They completely mismanaged the letting of my own property which left me exposed when I ran into difficulties with the tenant. They could not produce any of the required paperwork (that I was being asked for by my lawyer) though the agency had taken more than £1k in fees off me to let and fully manage the property.

What else? They managed to lose not one but TWO sets of keys from the property. In comparison to their negligence in other areas - this was extremely minor.

My next door neighbour had exactly the same experience in terms of how bad they were (she had contacted them to potentially market her property for sale). In the end she dropped them and moved to another agency. Speaking to her it was all very familiar.

My strong, sincere advice is to AVOID this outfit as far as you possibly can. I never normally make the effort to write reviews but if doing so helps just one person make an informed decision about this woefully, and I mean *woefully* bad agency - it will have been worth it.

As a tenant, I have also experienced the deceit and shocking unprofessionalism you will never experiencee elswhere. This outfit should be shut down or it's membership removed from all property letting/sales authorities/institutions. I pity any future clients who don't take heed of these comments or do not do their research into this fraudulant company.

As an unfortunate tenant, I am also on the other end of this stick. Awful to work with, entirely unprofessional and I have even received confidential emails meant for other tenants on a few occasions! Counting the days when I can get out of my contract with them...

Guest

I am a tenant and have experienced the other end of their 'service'. They should be avoided at all costs. I will now engage the courts to seek compensation - perhaps a 'class action' should be taken against them.

Very Corrupt Avoid

T2M have been in a BBC documentary about corrupt Estate Agents see here http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/4826444.stm

I nearly used them until a friend in a letting agency told me that they have the worst reputation in the business. I would of given them a 0 star rating but that is not possible on this site. Avoid at all costs.
