I got a call from this estate agency, whilst I was registered with another. They offered the world for less money. I don't think I got either!

The tenant was not happy, as the house was oversold (new kitchen and new carpets), which I never intended to replace.

I learned after the tenant was moving in that the referencing was basic and poor (an employee of their own was the referee!).

I found out that the tenant didn't sign a section 21 or a direct debit form

The main point of criticism and the reason for this review: They did not register the deposit and they did not tell me that they hadn't, but they waited 5 weeks to send me the statement in which I discovered that very fact. Unprofessional! I am now in a very difficult situation and I got an apology, but that doesn't rectify anything. The tenant has me over the barrel now!
