RPMS on the whole are good, although the agent who initially showed me my flat was clearly desperate for the sale as I was told even though it was a student area, it was a quiet building. Well, being a block of flats I didn't expect it to be deadly silent, but every single night there is loud drum and bass music coming through the walls and people screaming outside. Many faults with the property itself but RPMS seem to be a good company and they sorted out any problems I've had in a prompt manner.

I've rented with agents and private for 8 years and I have never come across some of the clauses this company have. You can't give notice when ever you want, it has to be done before a certain time of the month or you get charged another months rent, you have to pay £18 to get them to give you a reference and they don't do rolling contracts so you have to pay £130 every time your contract ends either 6 or 12 months to re new it.

I have rented from this company and used them as rental agents, please avoid this agent all costs. The Director is a little man with a huge attitude, he employs poor contractors,treats tenants like dirt and owes money to tenants for maintenance work.I have witnessed this first hand how this company operates, frequently don't turn up when requested, no show workmen, poor standard workmanship, lack of respect for tenants, ignore calls and emails and to top it off denies all of the above when challenged about his companies behaviour.

RPMS have looked after my property for 20 years or so and whilst sometimes we have not seen eye to eye, they have stuck by their advice and I have had the benefit. They give good commercial advice and are up to speed with their markets. As letting agents go I think they are the best in this area. They communicate well particularly on the money side and are careful to monitor the state of the property and let you know if there are problems. They know who pays them and look after them.
