Agent doesn't relay any details or at best the wrong details of the rental until after you have put down a non-refundable holding deposit. He is moreover in line with the old style arrogant sales person rather than a trusted advisor.

Further is the the landlord we are renting from proving very unflexible in terms of time for handing over the keys, as he only wants to hand them over at 9am on the moving date.

This is extremely unpractical, as usually on the moving date you are busy packing in the morning but now we will have to travel quite far just to get the keys, then travel back (will prob spend a total of 2.5-3 hrs in the morning just to get the keys) to finish packing, start loading and first then again take off to move into our new flat.

We proposed several other times and days as well as picking up the keys from the estate agents our selves but as soon as you've put down a holding deposit, these people know that you are tied in and the service level drops significantly.

Not happy at all and do not look forward to dealing with neither the estate agent nor the landlord in the future!
