About 40 months ago we met up with a director of OKBulgaria Estate Agents in London. We looked at sevral properties on their books. We flew to Bulgaria and were met at the airport by their local staff. We drove around for over a week at NO COST, most agents in Bulgaria cherge for viewings. We found one house we liked and were guided through the prodcedure. We moved to Bulgaria in March 2012.Even after the deal was down and money changed hands their local staff have allways been on hand to help, again, no charge, just smiles and great advice. They are highly recomended.

This might sound faintly familiar to some of you looking to view or buy properties overseas and dealing with some estate agents who claim to be genuine and work for your interests, but, they sound encouraging when you first email or contact them - though when you ask for more detailed info about some specific houses they (claim !) have for sale on their website they shut up permanently and are never heard from again for no explainable reasons. This 'agent', OK  are just another fly-by-nighters. What a disappointing waste of weeks spent researching their adverts and arranging to meet u p with them in the country of interest, giving times and places, etc, to be met (THEY confirm these details back to you too) and only encounter an omninous silence as you approach the date of departure when you try to contact them again. I emailed them sevral times soon later but nothing after nothing came back in reply. They obviously could'nt have cared less.

Good thing I checked further on these 'agents' before i flew to Bg or i would have been left with no meetings, no houses viewings, a hotel bill and hire car fee to pay, a wasted journey all way across europe and thinking myself a mug for my pains - and not just a little peeved either.

Were these properties for real in the first place ? I don't know, maybe these photos and details were lifted from someplace else but - just for laughs, heres an extract from their own website lit which they pat themselves on the back with - "Why we are different from the rest of real estate agents selling properties in Bulgaria??" "Because we care and we follow through. You can always relay on us and we will not let you down." + "To sum it up, we would like you to be happy with your purchase and make your investment ideas or settlement in Bulgaria come true."

Never truer words were ever spoken, eh !
